The first weekend of Febuary will be interesting, isn't The Chosen and the BTS thing both on that weekend? It was only for a day last year but I think it'll be shown the entire 3 days this time. I don't think it's safe to say that Knock on the Cabin will have the number 1 that weekend for sure.
What's with some older films having better CGI than newer big budget films? I just recently rewatched the first Transformers and the CGI looks really good.
Could be true, my college friends and I would always plan in groups to watch animation films together so we're not embarrassed being the only few 2 or 3 people in a crowd of parents and children.
Yeah, with Minions taking the PLFs and morning slots and Mat Kilau doing record breaking numbers. It would've been a really nasty fight for screens if it kept its release date. Bummer though, the new release date coincides with me moving to college where there's no IMAXs nearby.
Don't have Malaysian cable/Astro anymore so I've never even heard of this movie until the Kelantan no cinema news so they're organizing buses to watch in other states lmao. I'm guessing this is super huge among the Malay community?
Oh.. Korea specific? SK tends to like Marvel movies so maybe this could be an audience and critic split but not a good sign for sure. Maybe the humor is a bit much?

No. Marketing and Advertising loss at least but it made back it's budget. More or less the same budget as Lightyear which won't even make it's budget(2x) not even mentioning it's advertising budget.
