  1. I don't want to say Grace is the most reliable source, even tho she has been pretty good recently. And it's obvious she has good sources. But she said in her Thor 4 review that her sources said they had a 4 hour cut and that they had a a lot of trouble cutting it down to under 2 hours for more showtimes.
  2. Bruh. It's obvious these movies needed more time. And they are being cut for financial reasons. Which I get it, but they are killing them. Just like the Disney Plus shows, the movies are being trimmed down into crap. Most reviews and video/reviews say that it feels rushed and the pace is all over the place. Taika said he has a 4 hour version.
  3. I agree with Eric. If Disney/Marvel is going to keep botching/slaughtering these movies to shoehorn a less than 2 hours movie, I have no hope in Black Panther 2. It's clear that shorter movies are not working and DS2 and Thor4 clearly backfired. It fucks up the pace and makes everything rushed with the development in between just cut out. And probably moments of emotion, great character moments. All cut. Just look at NWH and Shang-Chi. More and better just pays off much more. These are just terrible decisions all around. And the thing, specially Thor 4, I know there's a spectacular movie with more 20-30 minutes that have a 85-93% RT critics rating. But Marvel now seems to want to rush and trim their movies down. What's even the point of having directors like Sam Raimi and Taika?
  4. Idk wtf is happening at Disney but this thing now of trying to shoehorn a less than 2 hours movie is backfiring in every way
  5. It wasn't then. But I think it was just very poorly written. Emotionless. A Wall.
  6. The Marvels? Event movie? I do think sub 600M is impossible. But my guess would be 750M. If Blade releases in 2023, I do think Blade will be the lowest grossing MCU movie of 2023. The way you just make everything about gender and politics as a shield. When I say I don't have much confidence, it's because...I don't think people are that excited for the characters in this movie. Like it or not. Ms Marvel feels like a ignored D+ show. I usually watch a lot of D+ shows reactions on YT and some are not even watching it. Monica Rambeau...I think she's a fine character that was served poor writing. Specially in the finale. Captain Marvel, outside of being highly controversial, was highly mediocre. From every aspect. I think the only strong point of it was Fury and Carol friendship. Maybe once trailers hit there's something that will change my mind. But right now, I don't see the Marvels as a 800M at the very least.
  7. The 20th Century movie THE PRINCESS that was sent to Hulu. Reviews are out and it looks bad. It's 58%. Looks like it's just a plot less/bad plot action movie. Could be enough for some to put it up at home.
  8. Yeah. The Marvels won't come close to Captain Marvel. It was totally carried by Endgame hype and the movie wasn't good. The Quantumania prediction is ridiculously low. I would have The Marvels at 600M WW (which I think it's realistic) and Quantumania at 850M WW. Guardians is the only MCU movie in 2023 with a billion chance but I doubt it. Bruh. Barbie won't make 1.1B. The Little Mermaid won't bomb. I do think it will underperform based on people current expectations. But not bomb. I'm guessing 550-700M WW.
  9. I think Strange World will be buried in November. The movie, based on 1st trailer, won't be a strong player at all imo. I could be getting ahead of myself. But that's just what I'm feeling right now. It just looks like... another generic Disney movie. I would still move it to March 3rd. Just a feeling. And push Haunted Mansion to March 24th.
  10. First Reactions on Brazil seem pretty negative. Brazilians are on doom and gloom mode already. I even saw a Marvel shill, without having seen it, saying he's tired of the MCU and Phase 4. Based on 1st reactions.
  11. That's right. But... idk. Other than distribution and paying for 75%, I wonder how much Feige doesn't oversight. This is a Feige movie distributed by Sony basically.
  12. I don't know what you saw but I thought it was phenomenal. One of the best shows currently. The writting, score, editing, VFX... This show puts everything on Disney Plus (all their shows, recently specially) to shame. Makes these Marvel and Star Wars shows (even Mando) feel amateurish. It's just on a whole other level and something Disney just can't produce. And I think the lack of maturity on Disney films, is something the audiences could be tired off. Except animations. During the pandemic, audiences were exposed to all kinds of content. I watched shows I thought I never would. And Disney content is something that I just don't enjoy anymore. The laziness, the corporate screenplay feeling, the terrible childish writing (If it was good maybe I would be indifferent), the lack of everything we see in non-Disney product. No Disney product has made me feel since the pandemic. Except No Way Home.
  13. So, Aquaman 2 is on March 17th. And Haunted Mansion on March 10th, right behind Aquaman 2. I guess Disney wants to release this in March. Would the March 24th date be better for it? 1 week after Aquaman, and not 1 week before. Or it wouldn't make any difference? Or maybe it would be a bad idea after instead of before?
  14. Snow White has been filming since last year. Probably wrapped up some time ago. Het schedule is definitely clear from it. Yeah there's no clear indication for Blade. It's just that there's a MCU date in November 2023 and only Blade could make that date, unless they either move everything 1 date back and The Marvels goes to November or November is just a blank space. Which I doubt. I'm pretty sure something MCU will hit there. Which would most likely be Blade
