  4. Civil War Thursday £216k - 4th behind Panda, Ghostbusters & Godzilla Back to Black will comfortably be #1 today
  5. Kung Fu Panda has been comfortably #1 all week. It will pass £15m today. Godzilla has just passed £10m, Ghostbusters £13m, Dune £37m and Migration is nearly at £21m. Wicked Little Letters is currently at £9.2m - not sure if it'll make it to £10m though
  6. Civil War took £42k on Tuesday IMAX only previews (one show per location)
  7. Yeah I know it's the holidays, but that still doesn't really explain it for me. Maybe for Panda, but not the others. Even the adult films barely increased
  8. Saturday 1. Panda £888k 2. Godzilla £678k 3. Ghostbusters £456k 4. Dune £402k 5. Monkey Man £270k 6. First Omen £189k Weird weekend, not sure why the top 3 were down\flat from Friday. Weather I guess?
  9. Friday 1. Panda £1.04m 2. Godzilla £644k 3. Ghostbusters £477k 4. Dune £342k 5. Monkey Man £246k 6. First Omen £170k 7. Migration £80k 8. Immaculate £40k 9. Seize Them £36k 10. Mother's Instinct £34k 11. Luca £33k
  10. Panda Monday £1.51m Tuesday £1.04m Total to date £7.66m Godzilla Monday £1.10m Tuesday £677k Total to date £5.91m Ghostbusters Monday £844k Tuesday £516k Total to date £9.65m Dune Monday £607k Tuesday £319k Total to date £35.01m
  11. just looked at the discrepancy in our Kung Fu Panda 2 figures and it had a very strange release. The £6.2m figure is actually a 9 day opening - opening on a Wednesday until Monday but then skipping the following Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - and coming back from Friday. Weird.
  12. Bit hard to compare due to different opening patterns etc, but here you go. Kung Fu Panda (late-June opening, 3 weeks before holidays) Preview Weekend Saturday £862k Sunday £827k Opening Weekend Friday £756k Saturday £1.86m Sunday £1.76m Total = £4.38m Total opening including Previews = £6.07m Lifetime Gross = £20.15m Kung Fu Panda 2 (mid-June opening, 1 month before holidays) Wednesday 770k Thursday £527k Friday £413k Saturday £549k Sunday £751k 5 Day Opening Weekend = £3.01m Lifetime gross = £16.92m Kung Fu Panda 3 (mid-March opening, two weeks before holidays) Preview Weekend Saturday £850k Sunday £734k Opening Weekend Friday £431k Saturday £1.60m Sunday £1.14m Total = £3.17m Total opening including previews = £4.75m Lifetime gross = £14.28m I should think number 4 will probably become the top grossing entry of the series, although it's obviously been helped a lot by inflation since the original film.
  13. Sunday 1. Godzilla £888k 2. Panda £859k 3. Ghostbusters £495k 4. Dune £444k 5. Aadujeevitham £124k Weekend 1. Godzilla £4.13m 2. Panda £3.90m (£5.01m) 3. Ghostbusters £2.17m (-48%) (£8.26m) 4. Dune £1.66m (-37%) (£34.06m) 5. Aadujeevitham £305k (£490k)
  14. Saturday 1. Godzilla £1.32m 2. Panda £1.26m 3. Ghosbusters £731k 4. Dune £567k 5. Mother £93k
  15. If this Easter weekend follows previous trends then today will be flat or down slightly, Sunday down a lot, and then Monday the best day of the 4. I should think it is quite weather dependent as well though.
