This literally happened with the first Captain Marvel, and plenty of people came to watch the movie. It´s just non-impactful noise. These people are not representative of the audience and never will be. They literally moaned about Mario being "woke" in regards to Peach weeks before the movie came out. After Mario crushed the box office they started to talk about how Mario was successful because it was "anti-woke. Their hate has nothing to do with the actual trailer itself. The people that actual matter has actually responded positively to the trailer.

That´s just not true. Eternals marketing was focused on the whole team and it was Gemma Chan that got the most. Even so Eternals failed because the movie was disliked heavily by audience and critics

They are really holding back from showing stuff from this one. Expecting that this will change over the next week

They have Spidey, Thor, Wanda, Deadpool, Doctor Strange, Loki, and prob plenty more with Multiverse shit. They just have to make a good movie. They have plenty of big hitters. No one on the level of Tony or Steve tho (expect Spidey)

They market it as an Avengers movies. Like they always do. Also audiences can easily be mislead. Marvel did it so much with Infinity War. Steve Rogers was very prominent in the marketing for Infinity War way more than others. Yet he is barely in the movie. They put the most liked in the trailers. Why Captain Marvel is so little in this is a weird one. Another example: Dune had Zendaya everywhere in the marketing for Dune but she is barely in the movie. Audiences can be mislead plenty of times. They don´t care if they like the movie.

Don´t get mad now but just a thought: Gotta say considering there is still no word when the premiere or embargo is, not a great sign... Marvel damn well knows that they need some positive word out and it´s kinda concerning that they´re not doing that. 27th is probably the date and that´s later than Ant-Man 3. Not to be the evil guy here, but could there be a chance this movie might not be that good? I hope I´m wrong because I love the Guardians and really want this to be good.

It was horrendous during the first Captain Marvel, its probably going to be even worse now but as we know shit like that doesn´t affect the actual movie, it´s just social media discourse. If the movie does bad or good it won´t be because of those idiots.

Most of the comments on YT are by people saying stuff like "M-she-u" or "98% female cast, DOA". Aka bunch of idiots. Just like the first Captain Marvel. It´s a shitshow. I´m sure it has tons of dislikes aswell by that crowd. It already has more comments than the last GoTG vol 3 trailer and Secret Invasion trailer has. That says it all. YT is never a indication of reaction positively or negatively. Edit: Yup, 150K dislikes apparently - very organic indeed. Don´t think there any grounds to make anything of this. Only time will tell.

I don´t quite get the Ms.Marvel show perspective. Not everyone that watched IW had watched The Guardians movies or Doctor Strange. MCU have always been quite good at making stuff like that easy for GA, that´s why it managed to become so big. The only time they kinda F´ed up in that regard was with WandaVision and MoM. Pretty sure they have learned from that. Those who don´t know Kamala will get to know her just like Carol is in the movie I would presume. The important thing for the trailers is to sell a movie that looks entertaining and fun.
