  1. This also adds up with Feige saying Bucky is the leader suddenly in Feb
  2. The guy that wrote Quantumania hasnt´been fired and he´s writing a freaking Avengers movies. Not everything is in relation to Quantumania
  3. Looks like that Marvel are listening to the criticism about the shit writing. The original F4 writers was not a hiring anyone seemed happy with so I´m quite happy for this one. Hopefully this is apart of the focus on quality over quantity PR they have been leaking lately. This is a huge movie. At least this writer have written a big budget movie that has been received well.
  4. Don´t see which movies can beat it tbh. I have this around 800M-1B. Realistically it´s only MI7 that can cause issues for that and maybe Vol 3 (but not really). Fast X will need 200M+ from China and projections so far says around 100M is more likely. So I have this as nr 1 easily
  5. OS needs to outperform this weekend and legs will be crucial in relation to budget but looking aside it´s been a positive development for this movie.
  6. https://variety.com/2023/film/news/marvels-thunderbolts-lee-sung-jin-co-writer-beef-steven-yeun-1235567387/ "Lee Sung Jin, creator and showrunner of Netflix’s “Beef,” is joining Marvel’s upcoming “Thunderbolts” as the new writer. Lee is stepping in for Eric Pearson (“Black Widow”), who was the first announced writer on the project. Lee has previously written for “Tuca & Bertie,” “Dave” and “Silicon Valley.” “Thunderbolts” will be his first writing credit on a produced feature film. The gig is a reunion with “Beef” director Jake Schreier, who is directing the Marvel movie, and costar Steven Yeun, a member of the film’s sprawling ensemble cast" Kinda bummed out to be honest. I like Pearson work in the MCU (BW and Ragnarok) and it´s quite worrying that a new writer is stepping in when production is about to start in two months but it´s what the MCU always does and sometimes it works other times it don´t.
  7. Late answer but the actress confirmed the other day that she is indeed in the movie.
  8. Tbf deadline almost always are way off on OS numbers on these estimates. Hopefully they are here aswell because that is meh
  9. The 2022 shows felt very rushed, the first D+ shows looked good and actually felt like big budget series. The 2022 not so much. Not only burn out but the specialness of the shows kinda faded. Spreading them out regardless of quality is better. Like it was no need for She-Hulk to come out in August when the vfx were far from being ready. As we all know Marvel works on their projects until the end so chances are that spreading them out will also increase the quality. None of the shows have really gotten bad reviews yet so I´m hopeful for the show. The talent working behind the scenes are arguably the best the MCU has had so far for a show. But you never know. I´m just thinking that the VFX probably is so much better now that is releasing in June rather than early 2023 as planned. I want this show in particular to have that high big budget value. I hope they go for 2 shows a year going forward. They may have to release 3 next year given they have a couple lined up but I hope going forward that they target 2 shows. It´s more than enough with 3 movies and I´m sure they are making some holiday themed specials aswell.
  10. Really enjoyed this one. A highly entertaining movie from start to finish. Great set pieces and action. Script is lacking here and there but the cast makes up for it. All the characters gets time to shine and the emotional connection to the characters is there. Also thought the score was great and that the humor mostly landed. It gave me LOTR meets MCU vibe in a positive way. It´s not groundbreaking or anything but it´s a fun time at the movies and the movie feels authentic and not just lets throw in a lot of jokes and action. One of the biggest surprises this year for me as I didn´t expect much. Score: 8/10
  11. I mean it´s pretty bad on every most metric we have. Certainly not the worst ever but it isn´t close to be good.
  12. The budget and OS is what is going to be this movie´s biggest problem. Think it will do well domestic but not so sure OS
  13. Feels like this movie is going to need stellar reviews and WOM to succeed which is something that the last two Disney releases wasn´t close to
  14. If it´s June 21st then it would be 8 months from the last episode of She-Hulk. A much needed break. Hopefully they market it well and it feels like a event like Feige has teased it. This has been the show I´ve been most excited about for a long time but that has kinda faded the last 6 months
  15. Isn´t Blue Beetle the last blockbuster until like Kraven comes out in October? Might benefit from that
