Would assume that given the horrible reviews and bad mouth that they would rather try to pump that up so much as possible to get the headlines.

Ant-Man will have bad legs, but I thought it would collapse more during the OW. So that´s at least good.

Just looking Eternals. If it opens to 120M OS and have similar legs it should get to 288M OS. Considering the shit word of mouth that movie had could Ant-Man do a little better and get to 300M OS? Or does the frontloadness become bigger here?

Yeah they were never topping that. But hopefully they can still make it great in it´s own way.

Ultron while a step down still was generally well received. It got a A CS score and 75% score which is ok. That movie was generally well received it just was a step down from the first one. Marvel movies were on a great run in Phase 3 and yes Phase 1-3 had some duds, but most of them were generally good. Now we have movies consistently getting B or B+. Feige is def being spread thin. That doesn´t mean that every movie going forward is going to be perfect if they correct that. But there´s a difference to a Thor Dark world here and there to the movies being consistently being of that quality. They made 18 projects for 2021-22. From 2016-2019 they made 11. 7 more projects in half the time. If they had made roughly the same amount over the same time period then I doubt it would have gotten so bad. The things that Marvel had in their movies pre-endgame and in some after has disappeared. While at the same time the things that were bad has become ten times worse. I don´t think critics are necessarily harder on them. The quality has just really fell down. Before almost every MCU movies was at least a good time at the theater with laughs and solid action. Emotion aswell. That is all gone now.

It was getting ridiculous how hard they went into the shows in such short time. That´s why I still have hope for things to get better again. Not only in terms of quality but the specialness of each MCU release is not there anymore. Already the few changes they have said and done has made me a bit more hopeful. Also funny how Marvel are dropping all of these news now. They clearly knew that they screwed up this one. Phase 4 should have had like four shows at most. Not 8. WandaVision, Loki. Moon Knight and Ms.Marvel. Falcon and The Winter Soldier wasn´t needed when you´re going to give Sam a own movie. She-Hulk ugh, What If also just D+ fodder... Also Feige need to really prioritize these next MCU releases that are going into production. Let the shows be the shows. Movies are way more important

Given how things have been lately that prob make sense, but yeah none of them are that reliable. It kinda makes sense tho if it´s true. Gives it four more months to work on it.

OS have had a bad reception on almost every movie since NWH. SK and China was a big part of Ant-Man 2 gross. Those markets aren´t what they used for the MCU. Most of the other markets for Ant-Man 2 wasn´t really that big. Combine that with the bad WOM it collapses.

Yeah. It´s getting to much of Rick and Morty now. Hopefully they see that.

Yeah I still liked it. But I could also understand why so many is hating it or given it rotten.

Yeah it´s hard to know what actually is going behind the scenes. But however they do it, it need to improve asap. I hope a big part of it is Feige having so many projects that he can´t oversee everything to the same degree. Because then there´s hope with them scaling things down.

Loki isn´t even close to be a worst MCU projects. In fact it´s easily on of their best.

Also as much as Majors killed it, Kang didn´t give me the next Thanos vibe. One of the first thing my casual friend who don´t even watch every project is that The Scarlet Witch seemed way more dangerous in MoM. I didn´t really think about at the time but now I am. They really held their punches here and compared do what they did with Wanda in MoM it just feels weird. Kang should have killed someone big. He barely killed any of those freedom fighters people. Just npcs all of them. Really don´t get how Janet or Hank wasn´t killed off. Man the more I think about this movie the more I dislike it.
