I agree 100% To me the issue is more than just that. Yeah that´s a big problem but many of the writers they had in Phase 3 wasn´t top notch either but they for the most part still did well. It seems that the overseeing from Feige has vanished completly. I remember seeing the notes Feige gave to the Amazing Spider-Man 2 script. He knows what he´s doing. Just don´t understand how this was allowed. Man what I would do to be a fly on the wall in meetings between Feige and Chapek the last 3 years. Michael Waldron did so good on Loki and on MoM it was meh... I´m sure some of it also comes from writers not getting proper time to actually make the script good enough. At least for Waldron that was pretty evident. But I can´t really see the writer for Kang Dynasti suddenly making something really good and strong. Even with proper time. Only hope is that the focus on quality control that they are talking so much will make the focus on giving the writers the time but also hire the proper writers. I´m sick of Rick and Morty. Waldron is the only one that has actually made something good and most people hated what he brought to the table on his first MCU film.

Not really. One movie doing bad is not going to change much. Especially given the horrible reception. If more movies start to underperform while still being received well then I think we will see change.

Well even though it´s still that, MCU threequel jumps are usually pretty big. It will barely increase, may even not on Ant-Man 2. It won´t get close to beat it worldwidwe. At least for Wakanda Forever you can point to the first Black Panther overperforming massively but not improving on the sequel that made only "622M" is not good. It might not even beat Ant-Man 2 adjusted for inflation domestically.

I had a feeling of this even before we got the bad WOM and reviews. SK and China carried hard for OS for Ant-Man 2. Fact is that franchise in other markets have had ok grosses but compared to other MCU flicks bad. Now Marvel don´t have those markets anymore and no other markets can help like they can with other MCU movies. 250M at best. Flop.

Norway ain´t really better. 12,470 over two days. Think it was around 8k for the first day. This might go sub 50K with the bad WOM. Pre-sales are not good at all.

Beating Ant-Man 1 isn´t a strong box office run. It will beat it easily. -
RT verified score are inflated. A good score on that has to be 90+. Look at scores: Black Widow: 91% = A- CS Shang-Chi: 98% score = A CS Eternals: 77% score = B CS No Way Home: 99% score = A+ CS Doctor Strange 2: 85% score = B+ CS Love and Thunder: 77% = B+ CS Wakanda Forever: 94% = A CS You clearly see that clear pattern in how RT verified is inflated and that a good score is 90+.

I thought Iron Heart was great in WF. Many people responded well to her. Now does she need a show to herself? No, I don´t think so. But the show being delayed to space out stuff and work more in post-production makes it more likely that the quality can be better than what it would have been. But they aren´t going to cancel a show that they have spent so much money on already. In my opinion Iron Heart is perfect for D+. Smaller known character are perfect for D+. The problem is that those kinda shows should be 1-2 a year max. When you have 3-4 shows a year for small characters like that it becomes too much and no reason to watch. -

Better times are upon us hopefully. Sensible and correct changes.
