    My hope was always to beat Ant-Man 2 worldwide without China. That was with good WOM in mind. That SK and China gross in Ant-Man 2 was huge. SK was always going down and no China. Now it at least has China but WOM won´t be good. So it kinda evens out my hope. I still believe it can do it but looking harder. The Kang factor seems to provide a bigger intial fan rush that´s not really translating to the GA. Which was my biggest worry in terms of legs

    I don´t think we will ever go back to where it was before. Fact is even if MCU still improves quality they won´t maintain what they did in Phase 3. That was a once in a lifetime run of crowd pleasing movies

    I´m guessing they will get done with Ant-Man and then they will release a trailer. Mid March seems like a good bet

    When you say the current WOM is terrible is that from press screenings in China? or the reactions we got last week?

    The way he worded his tweet made it seem like it´s WF first day (which is wrong) so would assume that´s what he mean. Yeah, not the first time...

    The first couple of days it was looking at to be at least be in line with Ant-Man 2. Which was better than I hoped for after the streak with poor received films.. but the last 3 days killed the little ok pace it had

    At least it´s bigger than WF... the last days have been dissappointing. Has there been reviews/reactions that have made it slow down in SK or is this just been the natural trajectory?

    But WF tickets went on sale Feb 2. Not Feb 4. There´s a two day difference here. Unless I´m totally misunderstanding here.

    It makes sense. RT % difference is also not that big between them. If you really want to discredit it then you can look at Love and Thunder a movie which is close to being rotten that has 78 on Critics Choice

    Why does Luiz say that Wakanda Forever pre-sales first day was 270K when it was like 46k?

    There is still 4 month to release so that CGI here and there still can be better to release. Personally thought most of it looked pretty good

    Pre-sales will be better than Ant-Man 2. So it´s not like its all doom and gloom. It ofc won´t get close to what Ant-Man 2 did in SK. This was dropping heavily no matter what, especially after that horrible 2022 MCU had in SK. 4 movies in a row with bad reception... Vol 3 need to deliver.

    Monday. Although I saw some reactions pop up today but know they´re doing another round of press screenings on Monday.

    Gotta say I was not a fan when the tv shows overlapped with the movies last year and in 2021. Hope they stop doing that going forwards but SI might have to if it has connections to The Marvels

    It´s mostly because of OS for the MCU has been going downwards lately. 2022 it took a big hit and South Korea especially. Think Ant-Man 3 being a big movie factor may play stronger domestic then OS. I did have it lower intially but it´s still an MCU movie. So I realize the notion that I also could be underestimating the brand power for the franchise. So if it does way more then I wouldn´t be shocked.
