MCU movies usually get good critic response and those lately that hasn´t also didn´t connect with the audiences. So it´s not like the concern is unheard of.

Legit think Eternals overall had better reactions than this when the embargo lifted. Like there were som that was bad but most of it was still positive. Here everything seems to aggressively okay. The positive ones also seems to only talk to Kang. I

Wild of them to hype it up so much the last month when they know how big of mess Phase 4 was reception wise and then not deliver. We will see what the reviews are as reactions will somewhat inflated positive no matter what but I expected more from Marvel from this one after 2022. Does Kevin and the gang have the drive anymore ? Right now it feels like they´re empty. But hearing consistently that the second half is rough is a major warning sign

This has to at least be better than Ant-Man 1 and 2. If not then that´s horrible. Frankly Marvel taking yet a L is one too many. This was suppose to be the start of better times. Audiences won´t like this if they fail again. I´m all for setting up stuff but you need to first and foremost make a good movie that audiences like. Like they did in Phase 3.

I do like that the movie that had the longest window got the biggest D+ premiere. Legged out well domestically aswell in the end. Hopefully Disney that streaming and theaters can both thrive with a healthy 80-90 day+ window. Smart. Never know when a bs CEO will arrive and just write the movies off for taxes

Heard this about Eternals aswell... Is he within Marvel? Cause their judgment have been off lately. The reports of Thor 4 being loved in test screenings and Eternals being a masterpiece bs. Charles Murphy said that but I wouldn´t call him reliable.

Ya know 10 months break isn´t the worst thing. The hardcore fans will have D+ shows to enjoy themselves with but GA might need a break.

Does the reaction bumb on pre-sales get heavily affected about how good said reactions is? I know most of the times reactions are usually very positive no matter what but thinking like say Eternals reaction compared to a Shang-Chi type reaction? Or is the difference to small?

Ant-Man 3 won´t get hurt by WF having bad WOM. The audiences knows that that´s two different franchises. WF is a slow, somber movie that most people think is a step down from the first one. So that´s not surprising. It lines up with the response from Asia. If Ant-Man 3 has good wom then it should do at least some business. But I really think the MCU need to rebuild in China again. There hasn´t been a movie for 3 years there. Why would anyone outside of hardcore fans care? Ant-Man 3 needs to deliver hard. WTS for Ant-Man 3 is solid, but the same could be said for WF...
