Wakanda Forever only got two less noms then it´s predecessor. Not bad at all.

Having only five movies nominated for Best Picture is meh. 10 movies is great. Stuff like The Dark Knight should never happen again. Movie like Avatar prob would have gotten a nom with five noms and it deserves to be in that category.

Yeah it´s a weird one. The main reason for it is I doubt it will match the massive grosses the second one had in South Korea and China. Also 2022 saw a bit downwards trend for MCU OS

I feel like 1B was always a bit to high. I would be surprised if this gets to even 50MUSD. MCU hasn´t been in China for so long isn´t a big possibility that the momentum is weakened and thus they have to build it back up again. How much is Wakanda Forever wts? Maybe, I just don´t see how it´s going to recover the big drop in Korea even with inflation. But I would happily be proven wrong.

Right now without any reviews or WOM I´m thinking 250M domestic, 275M OS-C and 40M China for 565M worldwide. Ofc can go higher if the movie is received well but also lower if it´s not

I don´t see how this does more than 250-300M OS-C. I also feel like Marvel might have to rebuild themselves in China again. Would be surprised given the covid situation if it gets that much. Hoping for 50M but I´m doubtful.

A China release makes OS gross much more spicy. I´m still worried about South Korea drop but I´m hoping Mexico which seems to be doing well for the MCU combat that. Also hoping U.K improves. What we thinking realistic target for this one? 350-400M?
