Seems like $2M previews for Wild Robot to me. Could be under. Weekend ~$30M subject to big SAT jump.

So yeah, I saw this today and now I’m scarred for life… Still pretty good though.
Body horror stuff usually doesn’t bother me, but the finale with the second substance dose really left me uncomfortable. Looking at this movie through the lens of learning to love who you are, no matter how you look, makes it hit harder for me.

Saw the movie, I had a good time.
It may not be as emotionally impactful as the first book, but I still liked.
Now, I’m starting to grow a little concerned about this movie’s box office, based on recent tracking.

Is there any chance of +40 for TWR?
-
By the way, The Wild Robot is carrying a $78 million budget.

Heh, bad weather could once again affect a DreamWorks movie…
-
Hmm, from what I have been seeing, if there's a good bump in these last two days, we could be looking at an opening within 35-45 million for TWR.

I don't blame them after what happened last weekend
Tracking so far indicates TWR should open higher than that.

Early tracking seems to suggest TWR should open above 20 million.

Looks like a lowball on TWR from Deadline...

I was gonna say how is Wild Robot comparable to Speak No Evil, but it certainly ought to have a higher walkup proportion so if it's tracking at 2.4 at this point that ought to guarantee at least a 35mil+ opening
Shouldn't it be higher than 2.4?

Wasn’t expecting Beetlejuice to come out on top…
-
Or, around $25 million actually…Though, a Sunday bump could put it near the number I shared above.

$26.3 million for Tone it is…
At least the budget is low. Looks like TWR will be the animated film to come out on top this month based on early tracking.

Huh? Mixed reception?
People hate it or tolerate it.
At least from what I’ve seen.

A few reactions from fantastic fest:
I've only seen one negative review from a critic so far, don't remember who.
Heh, I know Rotten Tomatoes has a mixed reception, but The Wild Robot is now down at 97% with 37 reviews. The person who gave it a negative review is the critic I was referring to here...

Damn, I thought tracking on here indicated a better opening than this…
