Atleast Transformers One will open at One position on weekend, will it.
One Pun Intended?

Looks better than I thought it would.

Trailer tomorrow.
Really curious about how the animation will look for this.

Oh wait never mind, this movie reportedly has a $147 million budget…

It appears the death of Transformers might be greatly exaggerated judging by the latest tracking update

TONE is gonna do fine in my opinion, watch it blow up in its final week.

Reading the movie synopsis, they kept some of the ending of the first book and appear to pull in a bit of the 2nd book. But the stuff they pull in is just not what happens in the 2nd book at all.
The first book ending is very sad. The 2nd book is great, with a few great moments, but overall a slight step down from the first. Haven't started the 3rd book yet.
The third book is the weakest of the three. It’s pretty by the numbers.

Really sad people that saw the live action Transformers films aren't giving this a chance because it is animated. Reminds me of how people wrote off the first Spiderverse because it was animated and not live action Spider-Man.
Then, people went and gave the sequel more of a chance.

It was fucking stupid to have two animated kids movies back to back. One of them always ends up dying. This time though it’s the IP based one. TFO should’ve opened early August on the 9th, or mid-October.
Still too early to tell, it could open within +35-+45

Little curious on how the overall reception will end up for this. It feels like not a whole lot of critics saw this at TIFF when compared to other films.
Based on early reactions, it seems like there’ll be three types of reviews for this movie. Those that really liked it whether or not they enjoyed certain portions of the film, those that find it generic or cheesy, or those that think it would’ve been better if there was no dialogue.

Tone could explode in sales for its last week, but we’ll see.

Any opinion is good to hear. How does it compare to Bumblebee in your opinion?
About the same I guess.

Just saw it, pretty good I'll admit.
I've only ever seen Bumblebee and bits and pieces of the first Micheal Bay Transformers movie, so who cares about my opinion.

Having watched Wild Robot, I believe WoM will be VERY good for that one...
Is it out in Brazil?

Mutant Mayhem did have a similarly weird EA setup on its way to a $28mil Fri-Sun weekend. Had decent legs but feel like that might be tougher in the school season and with Wild Robot coming up for TFOne.
Yeah, I'm thinking there may be plenty of field trips in store with The Wild Robot for schools.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wild_Robotis the plot synopsis here just copied from the book? Cus if this is the synopsis of the movie I’ll cry my fuckin eyes out so idek how kids would react
Nope
That doesn’t happen in the book, it’s close though.

Wait intense? Like, how intense we talking about? I just assumed the book was more kiddy if anything
Not a whole lot really, the movie looks like it's toning down on a few things like the climax and the ending.

This opened in Australia this weekend. Not sure what kind of pull the book or the TIFF buzz immediately had over there but a harbinger for good domestic opening would be somewhere in the $1.5mil area.
Is there a way to keep up with it?

I think the movie may be a little less forthright than the book for wider appeal and lean into the found family aspect.
It's definitely an enjoyable book.
Yeah, maybe not as intense as the book at times.
