Easily the biggest opening weekend surprise I've ever seen. Fourth movie in the franchise. Third movie sucked. Already made 90% of what I thought it would make domestically, -
I thought it was pretty scary, but I also agree that Ethan Hawke's character needs to turn on some lights. If I was freaked out by something like he was experiencing, trust me, every light in my house would be on. Also, if your kids are drawing homicidal pictures there needs to be more concern other than thinking it's some coincidence... Still delivered on scariness though which is most important in this movie.B+

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions y'all! I've actually seen a lot of the recommendations but some of the ones that I haven't seen that stood out after imdb'ing them were Wild Things, Cape Fear, The Devil's Double, Angel Heart, The Ghost Writer and Shallow Grave. And extra thanks to Jack Gittes for recommending multiple movies that I would never have encountered otherwise!

My friend and I are trying to find some good thriller/psychological thriller movies. By this I mean movies like Memento or Zodiac or Vacancy, Shutter Island, Identity, those kinds of movies with that kind of atmosphere or twists. Thanks!

It hasn't even been three years since Up was released, and Toy Story 3 is arguably my favorite Pixar movie, but it's great to see a new story being released by Pixar instead of a sequel.
