It's erroneous to equate the stand-alone Wolverine movies with the main X-Men films. The Wolverine movies are stright up action movies with little to 0 connection to the X-Men universe.

I'm assuming MJ 1 and 2 are in 3D. If not, I think MJ2 would do about 510m.

As much as Viacom wants it to be differently, Star Trek is a TV property first and foremost. And as a TV property it is very popular world wide.

About a third of SR budget was sunk costs from the previous 10 years of WB trying to make a Superman film (Nic Cage's 20m play-or-play deal from 1998 is factored in for example).
