  1. Firstly, time to remind everyone of the current state of play ... @Sheikh continues lead everyone (had done so since midway through the weeklies.). @ZeeSoh and @Simionski round out the top 3. A small gap behind is @PanaMovie with both @kayumanggi and @chasmmi both hot on his heals. Rounding out the top 10 is @BobDole who has fallen away from the top spots at this late stage and @WrathOfHan, @glassfairy and @Wrath at the lower half of the top 10. 2. Well after all that.. i am picking the mic back up..... And lucky for @Telemachos he gets to be amongst the first reveals.......
  3. he managed 10 / 12 correct, 5 within 100m. but thankfully for @Sheikh it is enough as he scored 554k leaving him with a slender 175k lead over @ZeeSoh and @Simionski Will it be enough to hold off the fast finishing Zeesoh and Simionski..... 4. In the final reveal for today, it comes down to the this, who will lead us into the final journey that is the top 15 domestic. @Sheikh needs a minimum of 380k to retake his lead and we have already seen 1 leader drop by the way side........
  5. So now we have @BobDole he has had a magnificent game and has led for much of the weekly scoring. also landed 2nd in SOTM, but this is where things have gone a little off centre for bobdole because he only got ..... 8 correct ??? WTF ? he did manage 3 within 100m, however that 8 correct has cost him dearly here with a meagre and lowest in the game 255k. 9. now to reveal 3 positions at a time - 10th, 9th, 8th 10 @Wrath had a disappointing top 12 with only 9 correct but he did manage 4 of those to be within 100m, meaning his score was 1 of the best for getting 9 correct and 437k 9 @glassfairy similar to Wrath only had 9 correct and he also managed 4 within 100m. however managed a few extra points and got the highest score of those who got 9 correct with 445k. 8 @chasmmi Chas on the other hand was at the other end of the chart with 10 correct and an equal game high 6 within 100m! This also meant he top scored for those who correct selected 10 / 12 films. he pulled down 678k (2nd to aabattery of the scores scored so far) As a result this has left the chart looking a little different....... 10. The next reveals belong to positions 11 - 15 : @aabattery did extremely well on the top 12 with 11 / 12 correct, 4 within 100m. This resulted in making 682k and highest score so far for the top 12 (by some margin) @Mike Huntwas also quite strong with 10 correct, 3 within 100m. he managed 514k. @Fancyarcher pulled down 11 correct again and had 5 within 100m.... however he missed on a few other key bonus's which other got meaning he landed at 644k. JJ-8 (me) did 10 correct and 2 within 100m for a what i consider to be a mid range 462k. @bcf26 had a bit of a shocker here with only 9 correct and none within 100m making his score a low 296k. this resulted in the following updated chart : Current After Weekend Player Top 12 Worldwide TOTAL 1 1 Sheikh 0 2,972,000 2 2 BobDole 0 2,710,500 3 3 ZeeSoh 0 2,590,200 4 13 Fancyarcher 644,000 2,574,000 5 4 kayumanggi 0 2,540,500 6 12 JJ-8 462,000 2,496,500 7 5 Simionski 0 2,487,500 8 11 bcf26 296,000 2,446,500 9 6 PanaMovie 0 2,413,000 10 7 WrathofHan 0 2,405,100 11 8 Chasmmi 0 2,378,500 12 9 glassfairy 0 2,211,500 13 10 Wrath 0 2,200,500 14 15 aabattery 682,000 1,816,400 15 14 Mike Hunt 514,000 1,749,000 16 16 PANDA 350,000 1,082,400 17 17 Telemachos 445,000 1,037,400 18 18 Premium George 62,400 19 19 Kalo 0 2,400 As you can see no one has done well enough to push into the top 3 however Fancyarcher did push up fairly close......

  12. Right, so I am back to start presenting the worldwide scores....... Firstly here is the final top 12 worldwide for the game : 😄 Worldwide top 12: 1) Aquaman - 1,138.89m 2) Bohemian Rhapsody - 861.45m 3) Fantastic Beasts 2 - 653.36m 4) Ralph Breaks the Internet - 514.43m 5) The Grinch - 510.55m 6) Bumblebee - 459.26m 7) Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse - 360.44m 😎 Mary Poppins Returns - 345.1m 9) Alita: Battle Angel - 284.2m 10) How to Train your Dragon 3 - 277.36m 11) Glass - 240.97m 12) Creed II - 212.69m Aquaman was a surprise winner for most, however the biggest surprise belonged to Bohemian Rhapsody with a much, much higher finish that anyone had this film. Overall this has been scored fairly well, but as i've already said be prepared for some shocks here.........
  13. and i'm pausing at this juncture (It's way past my bedtime) tomorrow i'll begin the long torturous road that is the Worldwide chart. Be warned there will be recriminations, no one is safe.... @Telemachos is coming for us all ! He is already nearing 600k and only a mere 2.3m behind the leader...... Of course after the road that is worldwide chart is complete, we will have entered the final path to victory... the top 15 domestic @chasmmi will be waiting in the wings to announce the winner as always.... watch this space!
  14. We finally had some movement in the top 5, with @Simionski slipping to 5th on a less than stellar performance here. It allow @ZeeSoh and @kayumanggi to jump ahead into the top 4. the top 2 remained once again the same with @Sheikh now pulling out to a nealry 200k lead over 2nd. 16. Next up is the top 7 Weekends, I think this chart suprised a few here with films that were not expected to make the cut slipping in while other films missed out (which appeared almost locks before the game - Marry Poppins *cough* *cough*) Here is the top 7 :- B: Top 7 Domestic OW: 1) Aquaman - 67.87m 2) The Grinch - 67.57m 3) Fantastic Beasts 2 - 62.16m 4) Ralph Breaks the Internet - 56.24m 5) How to Train your Dragon 3 - 55.02m 6) Bohemian Rhapsody - 51.06m 7) Glass - 40.33m There was no monster openings this season - possibly the first time ages we haven't seen a > 100m opening during this period. But i don't think anyone really expected this from any of the films anyway. the biggest surprise based upon looking at everyones predictions would be Aquaman topping it and Marry Poppins not making the cut while Bohemian Rhapsody did make it. Possibly the last surprise went to Lego Movie 2 missing out in and replaced by Dragon 3.
  17. ok so we are flying now, but so far the top 4 haven't budged their positions. Though it has begun to tighten up at the top with anyone within the top 9 within reach of a top 3 finish. so moving on to the next chart......
  18. So what does that mean.... not a lot to the top 4 who remained in their spots however @Simionski was able to close the gap up substantially with this chart to the top 2. The other big move was @chasmmi who suddenly has lept into contention, moving into 5th spot and now less than 400k from the top spot. Game On! 19. @chasmmi and @Simionski tied for first here with @ZeeSoh in third. of interest both of our leaders picked 4 / 5 films correct (so did 3rd and 4th for that matter however the top 2 managed to pick 2 or 3 films exactly increasing this score substantially. Chasmmi missed on Vice while Simionski missed on Spiderman. Also should be noted that Simionski possibly was unlucky in that Green Book became a Platform release (25 screens first up) meaning it was no longer eligible but more than likely would have been among the top had it been release in a wide enough format. # Multipliers # Correct Prediction Score Bonus Score Total Score 1 Chasmmi 4 170,000 90,000 260,000 2 Simionski 4 170,000 90,000 260,000 3 ZeeSoh 4 135,000 50,000 185,000 4 aabattery 4 130,000 50,000 180,000 5 bcf26 3 115,000 65,000 180,000 6 PanaMovie 3 110,000 25,000 135,000 7 WrathofHan 3 110,000 25,000 135,000 8 kayumanggi 3 90,000 25,000 115,000 9 Mike Hunt 3 90,000 25,000 115,000 10 Sheikh 3 60,000 25,000 85,000 11 BobDole 3 55,000 25,000 80,000 12 Fancyarcher 2 50,000 0 50,000 13 Telemachos 2 50,000 0 50,000 14 Wrath 2 50,000 0 50,000 15 glassfairy 2 35,000 0 35,000 16 JJ-8 2 20,000 0 20,000 17 The Panda 2 5,000 0 5,000 18 Kalo 0 0 0 0
  20. The Next reveal belongs to the multipliers question... the answers were as follows : 😧 Multipliers 1) Mary Poppins Returns 2) Vice 3) The Mule 4) Bumblebee 5) Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Not surprisingly, films released just before christmas figured a lot in this chart with Marry Poppins & bumblebee both released just before and Spider-man & The Mule released 1 week earlier. Only Vice was released post christmas (just before new years). It turned out, Marry Poppins was the easiest of winners with a more than 7 x multi thanks it's low opening but longer than expected legs. not bad for a film that made 170m. However it should be noted, that many of us had this film opening much larger and finishing with a much larger total. As good as this result is, i think many of us were disappointed in it. So without more ado, in a low scoring affair, the winner or i should say winners were.....
  21. End result of this is the updated chart didn't move all that much. @Sheikh and @BobDole remained on top. in Fact only Wrathofhan managed any movement from this scoring... 22. @bcf26 top scored with 170k. as you can see below, no one got bonus's however, he managed 4 correct in RFQ3 (same as 4 other players, but got higher scores on RFQ1 & 2 which turned out to be extremely hard as you can see by the low number of correct answers.
