I wasn't expecting Drew to go home this week, but I'm fine with it. My head would have exploded if I heard her sing another song the way she does. It's been 5 weeks of the same shit over and over. Her crying at the end was just awkward to watch.
Why would you force contestants to sing Michael Jackson? Haven't the producers realized by now that it just makes the contestants sound karaoke? It’s the same with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and so on. Why attempt it if you can’t even compare to the original? Of the performers last night, Chris Rene and Melanie sounded the best. Perfect song choice and arrangements for both. Drew was once again exposed as someone with a unique voice but no range. I’m hoping she’s in the bottom 3 tonight. My prediction:Marcus with the least # of votes goes homeDrew and Astro with Astro going home.
I caught episodes here and there but never really got into it, probably had to do with the time slot it usually aired.Oh yeah, can't forget Avatar. Probably the best animated series to come along in decades.
The originals:TransformersGI JoeVoltronThundercatsThrow in some:Tale SpinDuck TalesAnimaniacsPinky and the BrainA couple PBS shows:Where in the World is Carmen Dan DiegoReading Rainbow (when Geordi LaForge could still see)Also:Dragon Ball ZSamurai XTenchi MuyaGundam (multiple series)I'll add more as I remember them.
I'm actually going to disagree. With the right audio/video set up, it holds it own very well compared to watching it in theaters. The image and sound quality is one of the best, if not the best for home viewing. As far as the movie itself, eventhough the story's been done countless times, I haven't gotten bored yet, and I've probably watched it a dozen times at home.A solid A in my book.
Heroes lost me for good because of Maya and Alejandro. It's up there with the whole Paulo and Nikki storeline from Lost.I'm actually okay with that scene Fishnets describes. The zombie was in close proximity with the group, and if Rick let go with one hand to reach for his gun, there's a chance it could have gotten loose and bitten someone.
I love Shane's character but what bothers me is that actor only has one expression for everything. The man has only one look, for Christ's sake! Blue Steel? Ferrari? Le Tigra? They're the same face! Doesn't anybody notice this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!
In the show, it was mentioned that Otis was in charge of wrangling up the walkers they found. Remember he left with Shane to pick up the medical supplies before the rest of the group came along, so in most case, no one else knew Sophia was in the barn. She looked like she was bitten on the shoulder, so I'd guess a walker snuck up behind her while she was hiding.
Or....While wandering the woods alive, she comes across the barn thinking it's shelter, goes in not realizing walkers are inside and gets bitten.Only Otis would know, since it was his job to hogtie the walkers and put them in the barn, but of course Shane killed him before it was revealed to Hershel's group they were looking for her.
