  1. I've probably seen Beauty and the Beast over 100 times. One of my grandmothers had the vhs and eveytime I went to her house i'd watch it at least once.
  2. 1. The Sound Of Music2. Pyscho3. Citizen Kane4. Beauty And The Beast5. A Clockwork Orange6. A Christmas Story7. The Lord Of The Rings - The Fellowship of the Rings8. Freaks9. The Lord Of The Rings - The Return Of The King10. Cat On A Hot Tin RoofThe only time I ever have the same thing at the top of both my favorite and best lists is in movies.
  3. I would believe it. I've seen the Devil Inside trend on top of twitter worldwide for hours based on the ads running in primetime. That was in mid November. At this point idc what the reviews say, i'm checking it out anyway. I'm not asking for it to be good, all I ask is to be entertained. If I get scared 3 or more times it will have been worth the price of the ticket.
  4. I find Lauren Conrad can look exactly like Miley Cyrus or The Duchess of Cambrige or an Olsen depending on the the angle/picture.
  5. Oh, reality tv hate... Anyway, the worst show of all time is Two and a Half Men. I am someone who will watch anything on tv. I only draw the line at that and Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
  6. We Need To Talk About Kevin should be the awards frontrunner. Great performances, great direction, great movie. The Three Musketeers - Idc, it was one fun movie.Happy Feet Two - I loved it, I cried and i'm not ashamed. Also it was much better than the first.
  7. Bridesmaids - I can count on one hand the number of times I laughed.Rise of the Planet of the Apes - I don't get the hype at all. I thought it was dull.Martha Marcy May Marlene - Some good individual performances but the movie was a mess. Also one of the worse endings... I still think the director ran out of film, that's the only explanation.
  8. No. Toddlers and Tiaras could only be number 1 if Mackenzie was on every episode. And i've never gotten into Atlanta, idk why. I like Beverly Hills because most of the women are actually rich and I like New Jersey because it amazes me that such ridiculous women can exist. It's like watching an Animal Planet show in amazement over the strange creatures that exist. Anyway the best real housewives are:1. Beverly Hills2. New Jersey3. New York4. Atlanta5. Orange County6. Miami7. D.C.
  9. Best 1. Revenge 2. Modern Family 3. Downton Abbey 4. Happy Endings 5. Chopped My favorites (I have no shame, only God can judge me etc.) 1. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills 2. My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding 3. Mob Wives 4. Toddlers and Tiaras 5. Real Housewives of New Jersey
  10. The Hobbit of course. It's based on one of the best selling, most beloved, classic children's books of all time and comes after the most well received movie trilogy of all time. The Lord of the Rings in both movie and book form was nothing less than magic. The Hobbit book is nothing less than magic and I expect both movies will live up to the standard of the book and trilogy movies. When you have consistently received perfection you come to expect it. And fans of Tolkien have come to expect it. Anything less will be failure.
  11. This year I went to the movies more than ever. I've been seeing more movies multiple times and there have been several weeks where i've seen more than one film. I like the movie going experience more than the actual movies . And going to the movies is very convenient, it's pretty much in the mall. I usually combine shopping with a movie.
  12. If you were going by my theater Immortals would be one of the top 5 movies of the year.
  13. Omg, yes, THE EYES . I'm still going to see it today but that's mostly for The Hobbit trailer. Tbh I may just leave after the previews and walk into something else because I can do without nightmares tonight.
  14. Jin+Sun, Desmond+Penny, Sayid+Shannon and Bernard+Rose were the best. Every other couple can kick rocks.
  15. I wish I could have liked baumer's post. A very good read and it hit the nail on the head. Prices are truly outrageous. When I am in New York my cousin is my movie buddy. We go at least once a week. He buys the tickets, I buy the snacks. An adult ticket is $13. We usually try to catch a first showing which would cut the price down to $9.50 especially if we know we'll be seeing more than one movie a week. Snacks for the both of us usually come up to $20-$25. I can never deal with the combos because I cannot drink the size of drinks they give and i'd rather pay more than waste. So one trip to the movies for 2 can be $50. That's outrageous and I cannot even begrudge the people who pirate. Even if you can afford it it's still highway robbery. The obnoxious people in the theater are another thing. I cannot with people and their children. As a general rule I hate all children and the movie theaters are a big reason for it. I remember when I was young since neither of my parents are big movie people my older siblings and I would be dropped at the movies and then picked up. As children we were well behaved enough to regulate ourselves in public. These days the little monsters that are being raised to act like perfect beasts even in the presence of their parents know nothing of that. Thank God i'm in college and I can go to the movies during the day when the satan spawn are in school. I never even go to kids movies during school holidays. Add in the loud mouth adults, the annoying glow of people texting, the evil people who kick chairs and the people who eat and drink in the most loud and unsettling manner and the comforts of watching at home can be alluring. Even though i'm a movie person I can see why others aren't.And just to add one more thing. A movie theater is no place for a baby. I'm quite sure babies should be banned entirely.
  16. All these years later I haven't forgiven cbs for Joan of Arcadia.
  17. Lol really? I daresay if you were to go to any general entertainment board most people would tell you they download most movies for free. This decade will be for the movie industry what the last decade was for the music industry.
  18. Yay for MI4. I'm really rooting for it. Everything else, meh.
  19. Lol forever at New Year's Eve. I really wish The Sitter had met expectations just so NYE would have been second.
  20. Wow if that NYE number holds. I suppose I underestimated humanity because I honestly thought it would do twice that. Faith in the human race is now partially restored.
  21. I saw the trailer before The Muppets today and I wasn't impressed at all.
