  1. Man now you're really starting to change my views on this film, it's like making these characters dark and "realistic" (which they are not). neuters them, that's why after I processed it, I ended up hating MoS so much.
  2. After some sleep, a lot of the problems really got to me, like I can understand Batman being weary of Superman at first, but there was not enough evidence to warrant him, killing him!, especially because superman was just trying to freaking talk to the guy at first! and the editing of the scenes, namely like the one where Clark Goes to see Marthan, it is so stinking short, needed to be longer, a lot of scenes like that needed more dialogue, I still like it overall, but I have a feeling this movie is going to go down the more I watch it. also I know people said batman kills people, aside from the dream sequences, I can't remember him killing anyone to be honest..
  3. So I've been looking at the Batman V Superman IMDB reviews, and clicking on the people's profiles who wrote 10/10 reviews. and almost all of them have only rated and reviewed BvS. but yet there reviews are the ones that show up on BvS page. just like only negative reviews show up for TFA. this is so stupid.
  4. Trust me, The one I saw was way better, the entire audience was cracking up the whole time for it.
  5. I can just see the critic reviews.. ""BvS... Only done right.. and fun!" but the GA is like.. not this again!
  6. One thing that kind of worries me is that, if they Kill Captain America in the end of Civil War, are people going to complain and say they copied BvS.. the difference would be for me that people actually care about Evan's Captain America and love him, so I think it could work really well, but the GA may not see it though way after this.
  7. So the trailer I saw in front of BvS was completely different than the one released online, and way funnier. this could be the best batman movie ever made.
  8. So yeah after all the fuss I've been giving.. I I liked the movie, it was very flawed, but it was entertaining.
  9. I don't know if it's because I had such low low exceptions but... I liked it.. I kind of liked it alot... but it was far from perfect that's for sure Ben Affleck is fantastic as batman like he is the best batman I've ever seen, and I really liked the introduction scene, the problem is kind of all of Snyder's scenes that aren't action scenes feel like introduction scenes, I did feel like the dialogue was improved a lot this time around.. there just wasn't enough dialogue, I know Zach is a visual story teller, but people do not say much unless it is to explain a plot point, and makes for very little character development, the movie is dark but it's also not always very interesting or informative, this movie could have really used some smaller character moments, and a touch of light-heartedness wouldn't have hurt. And Henry Cavill is probably one of the worst things about this movie, his character is given very little to do, and Cavill falls flat quite a bit, I really wanted a more happy and upbeat superman, he didn't have to be reeves, but he needed to be something.. that being said, they did manage to redeem him quite a bit in the end because that sacrifice scene was freaking EPIC.. maybe when Sups comes back he will have bit more personality. I know that editing wasn't great, but I still felt like it was an improvement from MoS, it felt like it had a beginning, a middle and an end, but yeah the fight kind of just turned out to be a big misunderstanding. I actually kind of liked Lex, his over the top campy mad scientist portrayal, made it feel more comic booky, and added just a little bit of much needed fun to the movie, which probably surprised me most of all becuase I was not happy with his casting. Wonder Woman was awesome! I loved every scene she was in and her fighting style was so cool, but still I don't necessarily think Gal Gadot is a great actress, but he did fine. really excited for WW standalone now. the fighting overall was way better, the fight between Batman and Superman was perfect, it was brutal and quick, I was really thankful it didn't going on for 30+ minutes. there were some scenes in the beginning middle that dragged and I didn't like so much, Lois Lane is still awful, she's terribly writing and Amy Adams is really miscast. and this is coming from someone who loves Amy Adams! Doomsday was pretty stupid. but it was fun to watch Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman tag-team him.. the end was by far the best part and really saved the movie for me, I gonna eat a little humble pie and say overall dispite some major flaws, I really enjoyed it, Still don't really want Zack to do JL, but I won't die if he does.. I'll give it a B+
  10. Funny I actually agree with you, but it didn't really affect my opinion of the season that much, becuase I was so stinking invested in the characters.
  11. So I saw on the IMDB page it says november for this. but that is only 2 months after Luke Cage. I would love for that release, but would they really release the shows so close together? anyone else know anything about this?
  12. I've never really got Luke Cage, just not really that into the character, but he was decent enough in Jessica Jones and everything Netflix has done with marvel so far has been great, so this should be too. looking more forward to Iron Fist though.
  13. Just Finished season 2 last night.. and it wa AMAZING! Daredevil is the best comic to screen adaption period. it's characters are extremely real and are all treated as people, the heroes have flaws and don't always do the right thing, and even the villains have enduring qualities, and the way this show is edited is the most comic book like take I have ever seen. in a good graphic novel kind of way. sure season 2 may have had a couple plot-holes. but everything does. Jon Bernthal was SOO good as the Punisher. Elodie Yung was fantastic as Elektra, Charlie Cox was still awesome as Daredevil.. really loved the moral rhetoric the was spread throughout the entire season, it was interesting to see how Electra and Punisher views really started to wear down Matt views on killing, hoping he gets back up for season 3. although apparently he rubbed off on Elektra just a but in the end. and that rooftop argument, the graveyard scene, the prison showdown, Wilson Fisk and Matt's interaction in the prison, Karen and the Punisher's Dinner scene. holy cow there were so many awe worth scenes in this season, and I was down right chocked up in some of the.. and from The Punisher no less!! I love this show so much give me season 3!!! A++
  14. Not anymore, it would have had to have fantastic citric approval in order for that to be even possible, I'm at $184m.. wonder if that is too high now though.
  15. I think movies impact certain people more than others, I think it might have to do with where you are from too, I was born in Michigan, and it's practically rite of passage to be a star wars fan there. but when I moved to NC, I was shocked to find out how many people did not like or had not even seen Star Wars. there seem to be less people here in general who are movie buffs, I am by far the biggest movie buff in my family. and I was a child at a very good time to be a movie fan, right in the golden age of Disney, when films like Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Lion King where huge. I think because I connected so deeply with movies like this as a kid, I have a stronger connected to them than some people, and well frankly I just love movies and a good one with something in it that resonates with me on a personal level really plays it close to the core and gives me that movie magic you are talking about. some people just prefer real life I guess, I might too if my life wasn't so boring most of the time.
  16. Nee nee a boo boo the first BvS review is poo poo... (sorry I couldn't help myself. )
  17. Captain America: Civil War X-Men: Apocalypse Jason Bourne Suicide Squad Star Trek Beyond Honorable Mentions: The Legend of Tarzan, Warcraft, Angry Birds, SLOP, Pete's Dragon.
  18. I'm about 6 episodes in now, I had to work all weekend, so I didn't get the time to watch as much as I wanted, but I love it so far. ep 3-4 are still by far my favorite though. I gotta say I am really liking Karen this season, she is so much more than just sidekick/love interest and her investigating Frank Castle's past is a nice character arc for her considering what happend in the end of season 1, I really liked how her and Matt's romance came out, nice that they waited until we actually cared for them as characters before bringing them together. It will be really sad if (which I am hoping will happen) they go down the Born Again Route.
  19. Captain America: Civil War Beauty and the Beast Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Jason Bourne X-Men: Apocalypse Suicide Squad Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice The Legend of Tarzan Warcraft Everybody Wants Some
  20. Oh this that is what this is, I thought it was about film scores. cool Idea.
  21. Just finished episode 3, it may just be the Episode 2 of the first season... only better!! this is unbelievable I did not think they were capable of topping season 1.. guess I was wrong.
