  1. Surprisingly entertaining 1980s sci-fi flick that takes a few cues from Quantum Leap. ***¾/*****, (B+, 7.5/10, 3/4)
  2. Another terrible DTV film from Bruce Willis. Sadly, I'm certain there will many, many more. *¼/*****, (D-, 2.6/10, 1/4)
  3. Depends on how much Paramount paid. But it is an odd date as there are plenty other slots like 5/12, 5/19, 6/2, 7/21, 7/28 and basically all of August is free.
  4. Related news, Daniel Gerson, Writer of ‘Cars 3,’ ‘Monsters, Inc.’ Dies At 49 http://www.movienewsguide.com/daniel-gerson-writer-cars-3-monsters-inc-dies-49/156336
  5. Well, makes sense esp if this takes place in the present as Ultimatum I believe took place back in like 2006 or something, didn't it?
  6. JunkieXL (now going by his real name, Tom Holkenborg) is on a role with scoring Deadpool and BvS, sure he could churn something out for Bourne. But in the end, they might just go with James Newton Howard who did the score for Bourne Legacy.
  7. Watched this tonight (probably my third viewing) and still so powerful and utterly heartbreaking at the end. The performances all around were fantastic not to mention the production design and the one-shot Dunkirk sequence. ****½/*****, (A, 9.2/10, 3.75/4)
  8. The only one that comes close to being a kick ass villain is Magneto but that was going 16 years ago. Sabretooth and Stryker to me are minor, the former especially hasn't been utilized fully. Of the latest crop, Ultron had some potential but never quite did it for me and they mucked it up with The Mandarin, turning him into a needless plot twist and someone utterly generic in Iron Man 3 (a movie I should note I despise). As for Loki, never was a fan of his. Seemed like he was Zod-lite (Superman II Zod) than any major threat. Whiny brat TBH.
  9. So like the majority Marvel villains? I just saw it and liked enough. Plenty of fun though I wasn't as invested in the story as some. However, it is the perfect role for Reynolds and certainly Morena Baccarin is gorgeous. I don't think it's fantastic and far from the best comic book movie as some suggest, but I'll see it again (on Blu-ray). ***¾/*****, (B+, 7.6/10, 3/4)
  10. If it makes you feel like your life is complete, then by all means, take hold of that achievement.
  11. Did a search (using Google as the one here takes a ton of time, at this moment it's still "Fetching results") but didn't find one, so can a thread for Our Brand is Crisis be created?
  12. So based on the latest estimates from Deadline, this won't even cross the $6M mark (they have it at $5.5M).
  13. 1. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2. Suicide Squad 3. Captain America: Civil War 4. Bourne 5 5. X-Men: Apocalypse 6. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 7. Star Trek Beyond 8. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 9. Independence Day: Resurgence 10. Finding Dory
  14. Yep and cue Moby's "Extreme Ways". Got to think that guy has made bank licensing that song.
