Books:1. Goblet of Fire: A+ (my favorite fantasy book of all time, flawless)2. Prisoner of Azkaban: A+3. Deathly Hallows: A4. Chamber of Secrets: A (this one always seems to get overlooked, imo)5. Half Blood Prince: A6. Order of the Phoenix: B+ (Chop off 300 pages of mind numbing filler and it could be an A+)7. Sorcerer's Stone: B+Movies:1. DH2: A2. DH1: A-3. PoA: B+4. HBP: B5. OotP: B-6. SS: B-7. CoS: B-8. GoF: D+ (butchered the book, among various other problems)
Well I've officially swapped my #1 to Avengers in the game. I think it will be very close, but I'm going with TA because it will make almost all of its gross during the summer. TDKR will still have a good bit left to make when the labor day cutoff ends. Anyone else going with TA?
Yeah I agree they were overplaying that angle. I think this new trailer finally gives us a sense of what it's really about, which is not just her shooting a bow. I definitely think that's why I couldn't get into it much before this.
Yeah, last 40 seconds gives me chills just like the first two times I saw it. Funny they show a lot of stuff we've already seen in this trailer and yet in this one it just seems a million times more effective.
"Fudge comes in all different kinds of packages." Brilliant quote there baumer. Still I'm not sure if LG would be that committed to getting it to 400. We'll see I guess.
Or actually I'm not sure if Lawrence is top billed. I know Blind Side was the record holder for highest grosser with an actress top billed, but Lawrence may not have been top billed in THG.
They can't fudge 5m. I've never seen that before. I agree if it gets within 2m they'll get it there, but I think it probably needs to get to 397 at the very least on its own. Probably 398.
All it needs now is another good hold next weekend and to not collapse when TA opens and it will make it. I think it can do it. It will be so close. Damn I hope it doesn't end in the 395-398 range.
