  1. I really liked Wolverine. Right up there with MOS and Trek as my favorites this year. Expected to have a drop OW from Origins because that movie was so awful but I expect pretty good legs for an XMEN film.
  2. Or a movie about a boat trying to win the World Water Racing League.Cleverly titled Boats. All new and original movie.
  3. I think so. Superman Returns made 36 million after its third weekend and its third weekend it made 12 million vs mos' 20 million. I think it will get 305 million +
  4. I really have a hard time understanding why critics gave Captain America/Thor better reviews than Man of Steel. Do these guys just hold Superman to a higher standard or something? Those are solid movies, don't get me wrong but there's no way Man of Steel should have received worse than them.
  5. PANIC!Dogs and cats living together. Mass hysteria!
  6. Glad to see Supes doing so well. I like the character so much I forced myself through Smallville.
  7. I consider myself an Independent, sometimes I lean to the left, or the right, and in ’08, I definitely leaned to the left. I was an avid supporter of Obama. Four years later, I regret my vote, as I’m sure others have as well. I will still support Obama because he is the President, but I vehemently disagree with his idea of America. And he is not getting my vote again. Hope & Change made me so excited back in 08. But now all I can hope for is a good change, a change that will lead America back to prosperity. The movie I thought was very, uh, extreme in its ideas, but the fact that the evidence is there that someone could actually suggest Obama is purposely trying to weaken America speaks volumes about his record. This movie would have been made if there weren’t twenty-three million American’s out of work. I have a hard time believing that Obama really is trying to hurt America, I just think he doesn’t know what he is doing. The country did need to move in a different direction after the Bush Administration. People were upset about the wars, and the national debt. But now things are all way worse. And Obama wasn't qualified to handle these problems. A very interesting movie that lays out its theory very well, but keep in mind it’s made by a hardcore conservative. But if it's true . . . it's freaking scary. B+
  8. Usually conservative documentaries aren't very big. Its the liberal documentaries that get big.
  9. People who want to see both Batman and Spiderman in China, will see both.
  10. Both Bourne and Expendables will cut into DKR's legs. I'm hopeful that DKR can still hit 450 though
  11. Didn't it used to be 80-90 Million?Then 80-85 Million?Now it's 75-80 Million
  12. If it does 75 million then that will confirm that people stayed home because of shootings.
  13. My theater was extremely quiet for the entire movie. I though maybe everyone hated it. Once the credits rolled though, people were cheering and yelling and clapping like crazy.
  14. I've actually thought that might happen. Or we will see a better drop next weekend. I think the WOM is going to be very good too, judging by the insane reaction the movie got once the credits rolled.
  15. Maybe we should discuss the spoilers in another thread guys, still some people haven't seen it. I know we're using spoiler tags, btu just in case.
  16. Good! I'm glad a mega-Batman fan is going to see it.I know it was a huge tragedy what happened, but you can be sure that theaters are far safer today than they were last night. Everyone is on alert, the police and theater management. ENJOY THE MOVIE!
  17. I'll see how TDKR holds up tonight. Seeing it in IMAX for the first time tonight. But as of right now, my Dark Knight Trilogy Rankings are as follows:TDKR=TDK>BBBegins is all about BruceTDK is all about villains.TDKR has found a nice medium between Begins and TDK.One of the problems every freaking time I go to a Nolan movie is I get so dang excited that I miss little details. TDKR could easily drop to number 3. Also could be a clear cut number 1 for me.But all 3 of these movies are my top comic book movies.
  18. Agreed. Got almost zero laughs in TDKR. But the audience reaction after the movie was rambunctious. People loved it.
