Just curious how Apes has been tracking so far.

So what I'm reading is that studios only pretend to care so they can get brownie points for having standards and then they later quietly undo them behind the scenes.

There's basically a zero percent chance of that happening.

The first Jurassic World was also really enjoyable. Other than that though, I can't really say they've done a good job with the sequels.

It looks like they ditched the charts for Long Range tracking as well.

Based on the way season 1 ended, I'm expecting season 2 to focus around Skull Island. I wonder what the spin-offs are going to be about though. I kinda want to see Bill Randa in the 1940s.

Because there is no strategy. At least none that's apparent from watching any of these movies.

I mean it's too late now but I think James Gunn should've announced the end of the current DCEU instead of trying be all coy about it and announced a big finale movie that would wrap up the current universe. It would of course be animated but at least it would bring some closure. All of the unreleased movies would play a role in building up to said movie. This would make it so they could bring back just about everyone as voice actors and anyone who they weren't able to bring back for whatever reason, they could just recast. They could also end it with a glimpse through the multiverse that ended on a new Earth that would be the upcoming DCU.

Even at 2 and a half hours, Eternals was way too rushed imo. It really should've been a 2 parter. Movie 1: All the stuff that took place in the past and movie 2: focuses on the present day storyline.

The movie looks visually fantastic. I just hope the story holds up.

I just remember the Smallville version which I can't imagine this being as cool as. Dude, he'll be fine. Replying to a few posts on social media isn't that time consuming.

Agreed. The last few Marvel movies (besides Guardians) have been too short imo and coincidentally their reception has suffered.

They were 1 out of 4 in terms of delivery. A fresh perspective is a great idea at this point.

Good question. How GZ managed to secure less theaters than GB is beyond me.

She's not the main Silver Surfer though. And fans have been waiting to see that character done justice on the big screen for some time now. Granted, we don't know what her role is in this but I wouldn't put it past them to just skip over the Norrin Radd Silver Surfer all together.
