I mean a lot of people are just sick of talking about it. Majors is gone and we have no control over what they're going to do with Kang. I personally prefer they just recast. I don't like the idea that they'd change the storyline over one actor. It's too reactionary. And we keep hearing all these "reports" and I'm sure some of them are true but it's beginning to just be noise at this point.

So I just got back from seeing the movie. I enjoyed it for the most part but I fell asleep when Black Manta was in the artic and when I woke up everyone was fighting under water. What did I miss?

Is it though? Most of the characters are new and the retro characters have very a small amount of screentime.

Just saw the movie tonight and loved it. Not sure why people are saying Wonka was miscast. I thought he did fantastic. Also, the Oompa Loompa was great. I knew I would enjoy it but it surpassed my expectations.

It's not a perfect science. A lot can go right or wrong, but fan anticipation goes a long way. I can see that. I didn't finish the last trilogy so I'm a little hesitant towards the new one.

So what do you think will be the biggest disappointment of 2024? Looking at some of the big expectations for 2023 movies that went terribly wrong, I’m wondering what are some big movies that might face the same fate. I don’t think anyone expects any of the Sony Marvel stuff to do well except for maybe Venom 3 but I’m feeling like the bubble on that one might burst too. I have a bad feeling about Mufasa as well. With the first movie doing so well, expectations are high but the Disney brand isn’t what it used to be. Luckily it has the Christmas factor but it’s also competing with Sonic 3 and Karate Kid. Both of which could steal a lot of attention from it.

She would be roasted if people spent all that money to see her live in concert and she wasn't singing live.

It's a shame we didn't get the original plan. The version we got was kinda weak tbh.
