  1. Lab! Been wondering where you disappeared to.Also, no ones going to the cinema today. I expect some very muted grosses.
  2. The met office have amber warnings and even a red warning for parts of Uk for snow now....
  3. We're forecast snow for tomorrow but they don't know how much. It's keeps changing. Look like more western areas will bare the brunt, so hopefully not too big of an impact.
  4. That would be about £10.2m so far for Les Mis then. Probably around £13m by Thursday, and then it depends what happens over the weekend.
  5. Expect some very muted grosses I think this weekend. On Friday and Saturday almost the entire country is meant to be getting hit by a snowstorm.
  6. It's such a weird schedule. Mine has only 4 :wacko:Usually new releases have 6 or 7 at least, and another thing that puzzles me GREATLY...the last showing is at 8:50. WTF? It's an adult movie. Texas Chainsaw, Gangster Squad and Les Mis had shows after 11. The Impossible has a showing at 11:30 and The Hobbit had showings very late from 11-midnight when it first came out...how can this stop before 9?Maybe nearer £3m is the target with good legs over the award season. It's going to get interesting with both Lincoln and Zero Dark thirty opening the following week.
  7. Big drops. Snow today definitely didn't help.
  8. 11 - 13 January 2013 Weekend total Cumulative total 1 Les Miserables (Universal) £8,127,991 £8,127,991 2 Life Of Pi (20th Century Fox) £2,339,593 £21,918,556 3 Gangster Squad (Warner Bros) £2,090,614 £2,090,614 4 The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (Warner Bros) £1,861,157 £48,487,556 5 The Impossible (EOne) £1,859,505 £7,153,642 6 Texas Chainsaw 3D (Lionsgate) £1,247,735 £1,247,735 7 Quartet (Momentum) £891,829 £4,717,247 8 Jack Reacher (Paramount) £690,043 £8,611,737 9 Pitch Perfect (Universal) £453,205 £5,776,203 10 Parental Guidance (20th Century Fox) £401,627 £3,972,818 Some very nice totals right now. That's amazing for The Impossible. Will ease past £10m. The Hobbit will probably end near £53m and Pi will hopefuly leg its way to £30m.Could be close this weekend for the top spot. I imagine Les Mis will probably just hold on with near £5m while Django could do maybe £4m. Interesest seems quite high.
  9. Hmmm I wonder why...Maybe weather? I can't think of anything else really. Or football, today was super Sunday.
  10. Another strong hold for Pi. $3.8m 4th weekend for $35.5m. Amazing run so far. With the awards season, it may get to $45m. How much higher remains to be seen. $50m would be incredible.
  11. Bit early for estimates though! Not even 5pm.
  12. Hmmmm I'm sure that'll go up a little. That'd mean around £2.5m for Sunday down from 3.4 yesterday.
  13. I actually could see this having pretty strong weekdays. Last night at my showing, I think over half the audience must've been over 40.
  14. Yeah, If this had the same number of showtimes as Skyfall/Hobbit etc had, this probably would have hit £12m or so.
  15. $30m is locked and loaded.Its target is $50m+.
  16. Do we have any updated numbers for Les Mis Alfred?
  17. By the end of next weekend it should be pretty near £20m.
  18. Les Mis will have phenomenal WOM. I've never seen so many people applaud at the end.
  19. I thought it was absolutely incredible. I really, really liked Samantha Barks.
  20. If Pi drops under 20% again this weekend I'll be absolutely lost for words. That'd mean it'd have a chance for £30m.The box office in this country is on steroids right now.
  21. Jesus Christ, that's fucking crazy! Incredible increases for everything. That would be over £3.3m for Les Mis! I just came out of it and damn, I thought it was absolutely fantastic. Goosebumps literally everywhere.
