  1. Ugh shit I need a beer after talking about this. This movie sucks, and isn't funny just a poor script, unfunny scenes, with Peter Dinklage making an enjoyable performance that's it. Grade:D.
  2. Anybody know where I can find Payback(1999), The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane(1990), Barbershop(2002), and Barbershop 2: Back In Business on the forums?
  3. Just as good as the original was, a big improvement from Barbershop 2:Back In Business. The film deals with what is really going on around the south side of Chicago right now and they mention events that have happened within the past year as well. The characters are still enjoyable as they were, and also some new characters as well . Overall solid third film, I really liked it. Grade:B+
  4. It's predcessors didn't make much of a dent overseas either because it's a film that isn't going to bring in overseas audiences because they aren't going to be familiar with what's going on in Chicago right now(which is what Barbershop 3 deals with).
  5. The only good for The Huntsman(box office wise) is that its budget is smaller than Snow White's budget was.
  6. Universal is trying to get people's attention for Huntsman in stores by trying to have the fandango ticket coupon with The Mummy(1999) I have a feeling that I"ll just watch The Mummy instead of The Huntsman.
  7. The Jungle Book debuts strong this weekend, with its solid marketing effort and great word of mouth Disney so far is having a great 2016(and it's not even summer yet). The Jungle Book debuted with a better than expected estimated $103.5 million opening weekend, that weekend places as one of the second best April debuts and the fifth best Spring debut. Overall with solid word of mouth, and less competition The Jungle Book should hold up quite well in the weeks to come and end its run with at least $305 million domestic. In a distant second place, Barbershop:The Next Cut had a solid debut although the lowest grossing debut of the franchise(disclosing Beauty Shop) with an estimated $20.1 million opening weekend the film had a solid start -for a 12 year gapped sequel with solid word of mouth, and less competition for its audience. Barbershop:The Next Cut should ends its run north of $60 million domestic. As for last weekend's lead, The Boss took a steep toll for a Melissa McCarthy film around 59% this weekend which is her steepest drop yet(even Tammy dropped 41%)and as for its lukewarm reception if the film continues these type of drops The Boss should end its run around $55 million. Batman V. Superman took another drop this weekend, the film is still making some profit back for the studio but should end its run around $335 million domestic. Zootopia still doing strong with families despite competition, the film should end its run around $350 million domestic. The other release, Criminal bailed out with an estimated $5.8 million which is Kevin Costner's lowest grossing starring vehicle since 1997 with The Postman($5.2 million opening weekend) and that's not including attendance almost 20 years later. The film is also around the same field as other spring R-Rated action flops such as The Gunman, Sabotage, Dead Man Down, and even last weekend's Hardcore Henry. Watch for Criminal to end its run around $10 million. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 took its steepest drop yet this weekend and should still manage to come close to at least 60 million domestic. Miracles From Heaven also saw a steep decline near 60% this weekend the film should end its run around 65 million domestic. Fellow faith based film God's Not Dead 2 took the same drop near 60% this weekend and is taking a big drop from its predecessor. God's Not Dead 2 should end its run around $20 million domestic. Eye In The Sky took an alright drop this weekend and should end its run around $20 million. Last weekend's other release, Hardcore Henry took a hefty drop at 71% this weekend which is the same drops as Believe, Jason Goes To Hell:The Final Friday, and The Real Cancun. Hardcore Henry should end its run just at $10 million domestic. Allegiant still doing less than half of its predcessors, and should end its run just below $70 million.
  8. The Huntsman:30 million, Elvis & Nixon:3.2 million.
  9. Tracking has been quite well for both Jungle Book and Barbershop 3. Barbershop 3 I believe might just debut in the high teens to low twenties.
  10. Universal is good at modest budget films. But they are likely going to have one film make a $100 million this year.
  11. But I have a feeling that The Huntsman is this year's Oblivion debuts ok. Dies quickly in the stateside.
  12. Duh. Of course but Jungle Book is just our monthly savior besides two holdovers(BVS, and Zootopia). Oblivion had a terrible release date anyway.
  13. It's unsure about what the actuals are. That's happened with films before(Talladega Nights/Snakes On A Plane, Gnomeo & Juliet/Hall Pass, The Last Exorcism/Takers, Up/The Hangover, House At The End Of The Street/End Of Watch, Nightcrawler/Ouija, Jurassic World/Inside Out)
  14. I miss Ray Subers at the box office mojo site or even Brandon Gray. Here's what I would do if I worked on the site today. The headline would be The Boss tries to fire Superheroes, Softcore Henry.
  15. Michelle Darnell and the two superheroes are fighting to the finish this weekend. While first person action flick Hardcore Henry is one of the worst debuts for a film with 3,000+ screens. The Boss narrowly led the weekend with an estimated $23.4 million opening weekend. That's around the same field as other related comedies such as The Other Woman, and Tammy(although that had a Wednesday debut). Although mixed word of mouth(C+ cinemascore), the film could still make its way between 60-70 million domestic. While not too far, Batman V. Superman was also at an estimated $23.4 million this weekend, while taking another toll this weekend the film is close to $300 million domestic. Considering The Jungle Book comes out next weekend, and Captain America:Civil War comes out in a few more weeks. Batman V. Superman will make around 345 million domestic. Disney Animation flick Zootopia still showing strong legs with families, and has played strongly both stateside and overseas. Look for Zootopia to end its run north of 350 million domestic. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 still holding up solid this weekend, and should probably end its run around 65 million domestic. R-Rated First Person Action Flick Hardcore Henry debuted very softcore this weekend around an estimated $5 million this weekend which is one of the worst debuts for film in 3,000+ screens. Henry's debut was on par with other recent spring R-Rated flops such as The Gunman, and Sabotage. Considering mixed word of mouth(C+ Cinemascore) and a more crowded slate coming up. Hardcore Henry should dissapear from theaters quickly, and should just possibly break even with its $10 million production budget(not including P&A costs). Miracles From Heaven still holding up strong and should make its way close to 70 million domestic. Last weekend's opener God's Not Dead 2 dropped around 43% this weekend, and is below its predcessor. The Christian sequel should make around 20 million domestic. Allegiant also had a solid hold but still running behind its predcessors and should make its way close to 70 million. 10 Cloverfield Lane still holding up stronger than it's predcessor and should make at least 75 million domestic. Eye In The Sky still doing ok. The film should make around 15 million domestic. Meet The Blacks is not doing whack, and should end its run close to 10 million. Deadpool still making solid holds on the top 12 considering that the R-Rated Comic Book Adaptation is hitting DVD, and Bluray on May 10th the film has proven solid holds, and should make its way around 365 million.
  16. The Jungle Book:74 million, Barbershop 3:14 million, Criminal:8 million.
