You know, people always say this, but how would that even work in these movies? In the comics, Ms. Marvel/Carol Danvers just had flight, strength and invulnerability but now in the movies she has these super saiyan powers and I don't think I'd like to see Rogue looking like Sonic the Hedgehog with the chaos emeralds.

Black Widow was directed by a woman as well as those 2 movies and it somehow got a certified fresh. It's also Cate Shortland's 3rd highest score on Rotten Tomatoes.

It worked on Buffy. They made it drive the character's arcs in the season. The episode is essential to that season.And the songs are true to the characters and reveal truths that the characters had been hiding from each other. Other shows just have actors sing top 40 radio.

10 years ago, there were people on here arguing that this shot wasn't iconic. They were wrong then and wrong now. That 100 avengers running against Thanos shot in Endgame doesn't even compare to this. So simple yet effective.
