Pretty much exactly what I thought. I enjoyed it quite a bit, though the middle did drag a little bit.I know a lot of people think that women would be/were mad at there being "too much plot," and I'm sure a lot were. However, myself, and the full theater at which I saw it, seemed very invested in the story. I heard a lot of sniffs near the end when Mike was teary in the car.I personally wouldn't have liked 2 solid hours of stripping. It was fun and perfect in the amount it was shown and there was more than enough eye candy. Matthew McConaughey was a riot. People couldn't stop laughing at that stupid yellow spandex shirt ensemble. And when he was singing with the guitar and did his own routine? L. M. A. O.My favorite parts of the stripping scenes, aside from the fine physiques, were watching the faces of the women in the crowds. That was pure comedy right there.
