The woman on CNN was talking about this. To her credit, she said that it was way too early for anyone to say how much of an effect this actually did have on TDKR's b.o. take.

Yes, but TLK was saying it said on DHD that it was widely reported that he was dressed as Joker. He wasn't.

No. This one witness has been on CNN about 5 times describing what he was wearing and the police chief also said it. He had on total tactical SWAT team-like gear. Wasn't dressed like the Joker.

That Drama Series category is brutal. In the "I'd hate to have to be the one to choose the best out of those" brutal way. All very solid shows. HBO and AMC are soooo much better overall with their drama series than any other networks.

He didn't leave the company, man. He's on another show but in the same building and is dating a girl who works on this show. As far as this episode goes, they weren't even supposed to be there as it was a Saturday. Don probably came in as soon as he heard what had happened. They weren't doing an episode of News Night, it was a breaking news report and Will happened to be the only anchor there at the time. I imagine several EP's help with breaking news like that.They work for the same company, they're allowed to help the other shows if need be.

Man, a lot of people loving this show, but the ones that hate it REALLY hate it.

Yep.I distinctly remember a slew of articles about Diaz joining Julia in the $20m club when she signed on for Charlie's Angels 2. So someone is smoking something good on this whole thing. Wrong info all around. "NOT A RECORD" (ha) and no way is she making that much for TA2.

I'm curious as to how $20m is record-breaking for a female? I'm pretty positive that Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz have both received that sum before, and probably a couple more ladies.

I liked it, but no, doesn't live up to the first. However, that doesn't mean none of the rest of it will.I enjoyed seeing everything go wrong on the newscast. Once they start bringing in Owner!Jane Fonda it should get interesting. She'll be worried about ratings and corporate sponsors, everything that Mackenzie doesn't/doesn't want to care about.

Pretty much exactly what I thought. I enjoyed it quite a bit, though the middle did drag a little bit.I know a lot of people think that women would be/were mad at there being "too much plot," and I'm sure a lot were. However, myself, and the full theater at which I saw it, seemed very invested in the story. I heard a lot of sniffs near the end when Mike was teary in the car.I personally wouldn't have liked 2 solid hours of stripping. It was fun and perfect in the amount it was shown and there was more than enough eye candy. Matthew McConaughey was a riot. People couldn't stop laughing at that stupid yellow spandex shirt ensemble. And when he was singing with the guitar and did his own routine? L. M. A. O.My favorite parts of the stripping scenes, aside from the fine physiques, were watching the faces of the women in the crowds. That was pure comedy right there.

CJohn said kayu was in no danger of a suspension from a thread derailment. I simply added that his insults on top of everything else won't help.I am also quite amused by it, I didn't tell him to stop or that I was even mad at it. Just was an observation.
