  1. You know, I was really loving Hunter x Hunter (2011) up until this point (Episodes 112-113 to be exact), but OH MY F---- GEES, ENOUGH WITH THE NARRATOR. I don't need every single thing to be narrated to me. Anime is a visual media, If I wanted narration or inner monologues I'd just go read a fricking book. I don't exactly oppose to the use of narration every now and then but this is way too excessive, sometime even stating obvious things. If this is how Togashi wrote the narration in the manga too then goddamn he got really lazy in the writing department. Might aswell just turn HxH into a fricking Light Novel.

  6. This is bullshit. The whole point of making Venom rated R was to explore the darkeness of the character and as an awnser to the success of Deadpool. Once you take that away and force a PG-13 rating, it just becomes yet another generic superhero movie. Fucking Sony, always ruining everything.
  7. What a shitshow the academy has become. Creating yet another participation award, just like the Best Animated Feature category. Disgraceful.

  9. I don't get it. The original Incredibles did way better overseas than it did domestically percentage-ratio wise. Why did that changed with the sequel? Why is it now making more in the US than overseas?

  13. Evangelion 4 was just announced for 2020. I hope it doesn't get delayed any longer. The wait was too effing long.
  14. I don't care that those tweets where a million years ago or who resurface those. The stuff that James Gunn wrote in those tweet are straight up disgusting. And to make matters worse, it wasn't just a couple of "edgy" tweets, he wrote 10,000 tweets joking about raping and jerking off to little boys. That shit is just not normal. I world not be surprised if the FBI is investigating this guy right now.
  15. Still number one but Hotel Transylvania 2 opened with 124,810 admission back in 2015. The opening of the third movie represents a 41% drop compared to the second movie. Not even the advantage of Children's Day helped it. Either Incredibles 2 is really that strong of a competition or the World Cup final really screwed up its opening.
  16. 17. If you love a good sports anime, please treat yourselves with this lovely gem called Chihayafuru: 2 seasons with 25 episodes each and a 3rd coming up next year, it's about a beautiful but stressful card game called Karuta. I'd tell you more but I want you to discover it for yourselves. It's absolutely worth it.
