  1. Both have crap legs, and that is what the discussion is about.
  2. Low to moderate budget comedy and horror movies are the most immune to RT yes, but not big budget flicks like MoS, PR and even the Transformers.
  3. At this point though, da Stone easily draws more peeps to movies than da Cage!
  4. The comment was specifically about the relationship between RT and a movie's legs, and MoS legs were craptastic considering that huge OW. Actually no. There are incredibly few films (if any at all) with a 3 or more multiplier which have not been exactly hot among the critics. Whereas many movies get A, A+ or A- on CS and then prove to have meh to laughable legs.
  5. Thank You. Emma is such a stealth BO draw that people don't even seriously consider her over here. Nicolas? Lol.
  6. RT has time and again proven to be a way better indicator of legs and multipliers than CS.
  7. Oh cool, so we should finally get numbers today.
  8. Oh ok, bummer because I was following it to see which day it would pass THG dom total. I wonder if it has passed it already.
  9. So now they will directly report IM3's final gross when its run has concluded?
  10. Frozen will beat it on Thanksgiving weekend, I think. Still, pretty impressive for TC.
  11. Why haven't IM3 numbers been reported for the last 4-5 days?
  12. But Shrek 2 Tuesday opening defied people's expectations. Turbo opening is just proving predictions right.
  13. SP was always doomed because it is only popular in annoying hipster circles like the Adventure Time franchise. But I love it. One of my favorite movies ever! The soundtrack is simply killer!
  14. Did someone just insinuate that Proposal success was because of Reynolds and not Sandra?
  15. Funny how the tables have turned. Now Wolverine is following Xavier's path of human/mutant coexistence in the comics by founding a mutant school while Cyclops has become the more outspoken individual and leading his own team of mutant revolutionaries consisting of former X-Villains like Magneto and Emma Frost.
  16. I meant test as in Gravity will show how willing GA would be to support Sandra in a genre where she hasn't had a BO success yet, now that she is experiencing an epic renaissance. Similar to Tatum proving he is a solid romance/comedy/stripper drama draw, but when it comes to action, GA and his fanbase do not really care.
  17. They'd totally be outshone by their younger, cooler and more charismatic bro Whedon though!
  18. Lol, we cannot talk about every impassioned Nolanite in the same vein as the Aurora loonie. In Whatshisname's case, I think he was an insecure social misfit seeking attention who became incredibly enamored with the Joker's character from TDK (not surprising as the character was far more glorified than even Batman in the film, even the nature of his ultimate defeat left up to ambiguity). Regarding the rest of Nolan's fanbase, I have noticed a pattern of many pseudo-intellectuals jump on his bandwagon immediately after TDK/Inception. I am not saying that every person who noticed Nolan because of TDK or Inception is a pseudo intellectual, but from what I have seen, a lot of people converted to "Nolanism" after those two films just because they liked the concept of intelligence without actually bothering to find out what it was all about. Which is why they jare ever enthusiastic at attacking those who criticize his movies, even ones like TDKR which fully deserve criticism, simply because they don't really get how unintelligent and un-Nolan that movie actually was when compared to the rest of his work. Just my observations as a Nolan fan much before the TDK/Inception phenom (yeah ok, I am a total hipster, being into Chris before he was cool and all that!)
  19. But Tangled was just a few K's away from 200m. Fudging was incredibly convenient. Looks like MoS will miss 300m by at least 5-6m. WB didn't even fudge TDKR to 450m, when that was just 2m away.
  20. But also less enough to hold chances for a Goyer-less sequel, which is what it (and the DCU in general) needs.
