  1. Wouldn't mind Circe or whoever actually resurrecting Steve in order to lure Diana over to their side, but when their offer is inevitably turned down, drive the poor guy back into the underworld. If it's Circe, it would actually be a neat nod to her originally gaining a grudge against the Amazons in the comics after they turned down her offer to make her their patron deity.
  2. Remember Big Hero 6 initially having a "...but pales in comparison to Disney's recent offerings" consensus at first despite having a higher rating than Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph and the same as Frozen. They changed it once more fresh reviews rolled in.
  3. I wouldn't be surprised if the order the casting was announced in is more or less reflective of the degrees of focus each character will be given in the movie: Bev and Bill being given the most to do, then Richie and Eddie following them, and Ben, Stan and Mike being slightly less prominent than the others.
  4. Official site is up, with brief bios for characters like Miles, Peter and Gwen: http://www.intothespiderverse.movie/
  5. On the subject of young Latinx actors who can sing and dance, I hope Camila Mendes (Riverdale's Veronica) breaks out. Also, Naya Rivera better get her shit together again. She was so promising once upon a time.
  6. The ultimate laboratory grown IP hybridization designed to generate windfalls
  7. Jake Johnson's chill low energy voice is throwing me off his take on Peter Parker lol But looks fun overall.
  8. Sly dig at Superman Stache-gate by slapping a mustache sticker on Batman
  9. This desperation tho (Season 6 of the early 00's Teen Titans animated show)
  10. World War II, when she used the example of the US government enlisting the help of the mafia as precedence for recruiting bad guys. Also, Steven Spielberg's Blackhawks movie, if it ever sees the light of day and is set in the DC universe, will be World War II based.
  11. Who's the sister and brother at the box office? How's Raazi doing? Been a fan of Alia Bhatt. Think she has great Hollywood crossover potential. Paul Feig expressed interest in working with her.
  12. Officially nothing was ever mentioned about a World War II setting. It was just some people assuming it after the first film's WWI setting.
  13. I'm pretty sure Tangled got a little more help than dollar runs in the nth hour to reach 200M. Don't see BP being abandoned at 699 point something.
  14. It's passing the 699M point today with the dollar theatre run still to go. Even if it falls short of 700M on its own, it will reach a point where the fudging will be *ahem* a piece of cake compared to what it took for Tangled to reach 200M and the (vain) efforts made for AWiT to reach 100M.
  15. 1984 was the year The Terminator came out. Wonder Woman and James Cameron, those star-crossed lovers!
  16. The Parrs' new digs is listed on Zillow: https://www.zillow.com/house/incredibles-super-home/
  17. Interesting how it's the DC Trinity who have had the three greatest romances in superhero movies so far.
  18. And TBF there's a chance this does better than Aquaman because of Aquaman if the latter is well received. Aquaman has to directly follow JL, and Aquaman and Mera aren't incredibly popular characters like Squad's Harley Quinn/Joker and of course, Wonder Woman, to remain unaffected by previous DC misfires/missteps. Though hopefully if AQM is solid then the release period allows for a leggy run. I think this is where the other kids/superheroes of the Shazam Family will come in handy. They are younger than Billy and of different ethnicities, and we haven't had a superhero film revolving around a whole bunch of kids. If they market it around all the kids instead of just Billy/Shazam, it will seem unique enough.
