  1. is MI holding up better with no SoF overseas ? WOM of SoF is through the roof and MIDR1 is just an average action flick, done better before
  2. this bombing reminds me of MI3 , that had high expectations after coming off MI2. You can't keep making entries just because, you need to offer audiences something new. Henry Cavill last time at least got some younger folks interested .
  3. absolutely embarrassing for Paramount and Cruise , will Part II still be in the next movie. 😄
  4. i don't think stars should promote stuff for premieres or interviews , but i do think it should be ok for actors to promote smaller films on social media at least
  5. still DL is doing what Paramount says, it won't be far off, though they oversold D&D 40m opening , so can fall short
  6. its later in its run, Rise of the Beasts with weaker wom fell 17.2% so its optimistic but not impossible
  7. i have not, its a wom film, the people that have seen it love it. if you see empty screenings its just people taking advantage of seeing a free movie over, but go to different screening once at theater , but that is a small percentage
  8. i'm not sure where finals end up, but i expect Paramount to fudge franchise record if falls a little short
  9. Sound of Freedom which is shaping up for an estimated $24.7M second weekend in second place, up a hu-mungo 26%
  10. SATURDAY PM UPDATE: Facts are facts, and Paramount/Skydance’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One set a 5-day opening domestic record for the franchise with $80M, we hear.
  11. MI is not frontloaded, business is spread out, also losing some business to Sound Of Freedom
  12. its funny on DL box office report they slam Indy to make MI look better and say they had higher hopes Lucasfilm wouldn't mess up a legacy finale.
