No one will ever touch TC in terms of popularity. He is the only star that's capable to consistently get solid numbers.

Jolie is the only thing watchable about that film. They honesty should give her all the profits. Great BO and fantastic for the fans. But, I utterly despise that movie. If good movies have really hard time doing solid numbers (EoT, HTTYD2) while movies like Malefishit and Transformium aka Bay's self-pleasure clinic print money, then I honestly do not want to hear people complain about sequels/remakes etc ever again. My coworker that constantly shit on Hollywood just took his whole family to see Transhitormers in Imax. That's nearly 100 bucks. Studios know it, and it's really understandable why they are on this path.

The scene with Alfred crying has more emotion than all TF movies combined and then some. TDKR has more defenders because people nitpick the shit out of it more than other films, even though you can find the same inconsistencies in TDK and BB, so people are more prone to defend it.

Titanic is a true epic that every audience should at least watch once if not twice to experience its huge scale.Titanic may have overachieved with the huge BO returns, but I don't think it's overrated at all.It's like with sports players. Gareth Bale got a huge transfer fee for his move to Real Madrid, and people started calling him overrated, but if you actually watch him play, you know that he is truly one of the best. So he isn't overrated but rather simply overpriced.
