Great. Say goodbye to that mutherfucker.
Dont recast. Pivot to F4 like Galactus or Dr Doom

With a 125 mill budget for Wonka it looks like WB has another hit on their hands. Combined with TCP being a huge hit the studio will have a strong finish and a great year despite their CBM`s doing not that great…

True, but I don't see Punisher working with Kingpin or the Sinister Six or whoever. And based on the sounds of it Sony wants a movie character specifically like how the previous films had Tony, Fury, and Strange.
Also, Varietys report on Eyes of Wakanda confirms Coogler A: worked on it, and B: it's not the only Wakanda show he's working on.
I could see a DD/Spiderman team up vs Kingpin and his guns for hire Bullseye and Punisher(No Electra). Where Punisher starts off bad but gets turned and eliminates Bulleye at the end in a great battle while DD and Spidey defeats Wilson Fisk.A more grounded movie with more story and minimal cgi.
Could be amazing with the right script and a Frank Miller vibe through the movie
Properbly not they way Sony wants to go. But a guy can dream right. Would 100% be my first pitch if i ever had a sit down with Feige

It's not really any more a weird fit than Strange in the last one or Iron Man in the first one. Though if they're doing Devil's Reign maybe Hawkeye or someone more street level would be a better fit.
Or Punisher? As anti hero. Loved that guy in the comics. Still think i have Amazing Spiderman #129 somewhere. one of my favorites
But they never get him quite right on screen. The last version was okay though -

Majors has had the fastest rise and fall of any star I’ve ever seen. When creed 2 came out I remember thinking “how is this guy suddenly everywhere?” and now I’ll probably never see him in a movie ever again
Creed 3 right?- 1

Just watched Mr. Monk's Last Case. If I had a cent for every murder mystery released in December in the 2020s where the murderer is basically an Elon Musk stand-in, I would have 2 cents, which isn't a lot but it's wild it's happened 2 years in a row now.
Apart from that, it was a great reunion episode and made me want more Monk adventures. Maybe just a movie a year.
Its only on Peacock right? -

Thanks. Majors is done in MCU. This is not only cancel culture speaking. Its common sense and the right thing to do- 2

It's been rumored for a long while. Shakman also said he loved the Space Race era aspect of the original FF stories in a recent interview.
Ooookay… Then it would be hard to imagine how they would join the big MCU when they are casting older actors. Makes no sense IMO.It would make sense if they did a One Shot of some kind. Or some kind of wierd time travel maybe.. Hmmm

If they're announcing the cast they might have concept art of the team as well, that'd be pretty cool. If it's really set in the 60s I'd expect something more classic styled than the one Krasinski had.
Where did you hear that it would be set in the 60s??? -

I don't know why everyone is assuming it must be Surfer, if it's even a herald at all. Galactus has had more than just Surfer as a herald.
He had around 20 last i looked. Plenty to take from. Leave SS alone for a whileGive me Terrax plus another please

Give her some big tits and i will learn to live with it
-
That news got me really pumped for this movie. Great idea.
Hope its good -
My inner child really hopes that Terrax will be maybe one of the heralds in this movie. I loved him as a young boy reading the comics and Galactus has always been one of my favorites. Could work with him and Nova serving Big G IMO..
I just hope that they save Doom and build him up for the 3rd movie or even the next big bad in Avengers

Why are we even talking about MI when we have likely the biggest bomb of all time right here?
Some compared those 2 as equal flops…. So i and others had to speak up about that not being true- 1

I disagree. It didn’t quite make it to double in the end. And the participations will be huge. P&A easily $150m+.

MI7 recieved 71 mill from insurance company due to COVID
https://www.cbr.com/mission-impossible-7-insurance-payout-profitability/
So net budget is closer to 220 mill on a 570 mill theater gross.
IT WILL MAKE MONEY

Not a chance MI7 breaks even.
It was Variety or THR who reported the $100m+ loss.
MI7, Indiana Jones, The Marvels and The Flash are the biggest financial bombs of the year. So far.
MI7 did double budget. Without doing hollywood math that means you will be fine down the road. Especially when its a very well recieved Cruise movie. Theaters covers most of budget and TV,VOD and streaming covers residuals, P&A ectI don`t think its fair to compare this to the 3 others BO wise. Not even if Variety or THR said so. It will break even. Give or take 20 mill.
The other 3 will loose 100-200 mill

Indiana Jones and Mission Impossible were two of the biggest bombs of the year btw.
Just to clear that up lol. Both losing over $100m+ for their studios.
Im pretty sure that MI won`t loose that much when all is said and done. In fact there could be a chance that its goes even steven in the end with TV,VOD and streaming salesIndy will loose 100 mill yes

I would go even further to say that this was among the worst superhero films ever released in the modern era.
If I was Bob Iger, I would have a long discussion with Feige until we can figure out what the hell is going on.
Something like that yesI HATE what is going on right now. I need Marvel to feed me until the day that die.. Im that big a fan since i started reading the comics 40 years ago
But this needs to happen. MarvelS needs to flop. Disney needs to loose 200 mill.
Critics needs to butcher this movie.
Feige & Co needs to learn the hard way that the shit they have done almost since Endgame needs to stop. Disney+ shows included. Its has been one shit show after another. She-Hulk, Secret Wars, Quantumania and Ms Marvel are atrousiously bad.
I just hope that the strikes gave them time to breathe and reflect. And come up with a different plan. Because the current one is`ent working
