  1. This is the first time in maybe a year and a half that I post on these forums. That's how good this movie is. I saw it again today and I loved it even more the second time around. I took my little sister who wants to be an actress when she grows up and she loved it. Heck, the first time I saw it was right around finals time and it motivated me to continue doing what I'm doing no matter how hard it gets or the negativity that surrounds one daily. It's a beautiful film too look at (I say it wins the Oscar for Cinematography) and the music itself is marvelous (it better win Best Score). Is the singing perfect? Nope, but that's what makes it so great. Emma Stone was phenomenal and after seeing it twice, I was still impressed with her performance. Ryan Gosling is lovable and they both have such a great chemistry. Damien Chazelle has done it again. Can't wait for whatever he has stored next!!! A lot of people are complaining about the ending, but I loved it. You can't have it all and that's how it is in life tbh. It's definitely my favorite movie of the year. A
  2. I'm happy that Inarritu won. I don't understand the love in this forum for Mad Max. I was so disappointed when I saw it. Maybe because I have high expecations but still. Ridley Scott might have been more deserving, but I will never root against my own.
  3. Wow I saw this for the first time yesterday because I had some free time. It was such a freaking awesome movie. I really really loved it. Hilary Swank was phenomenal. Morgan Freeman was okay, he's been in better stuff A+
  4. Nah I doubt it. I saw this at 5:30pm at Georgetown and it was packed. My friend group had to separate and they had to sit at the very front. There wasn't a single seat that was not occupied. Great movie!
  5. Happy for Universal but I reallk don't like the Minions. I don't find them funny, but then again it's the movies are for little kids.
  6. Wow. I had very high expectations for this movie after the reviews and all of my friends recommending it and it truly delivers. It's one of the best animated films ever made and it is definetely one of Pixar's best. I may not be an 11 year old girl but I related so damn much. The whole world created by Pixar is truly spectacular and proves that Pixar will always be king when it comes to quality of animated movies. I loved the premise so much that I was imagining how a college student's emotions and memories would work after the movie finished. I will definetely see it again. A
  7. I AM SPEECHLESS..... I THOUGHT MY 140M PREDICTION MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE CEALING BUT JURASSIC WORLD IS KILLING IT AT THE BOX OFFICE.
  8. Oh my! This was so much fun! It was everything I wanted the movie to be. I wasn't expecting much (I kind of stopped expecting much after I had high expectations for TDKR) and I was suprised as to how fun Jurassic World was. Does it have flaws? I'm sure it does. But c'mon.....if you're looking for a flawless movie then don't watch it. Take the movie for what it's suppose to be.... a fun summer blockbuster! A- (the Mercedes Benz close ups did annoy me at times)
  9. I absolutely loved this movie. The cast was stellar and it's probably one of my favorite musicals, it's as good as Chicago. I enjoyed it more than Les MIS by a landslide. The songs were stuck in my head and I couldn't stop thinking about this movie. Probably one of my favorite films of the year. A-
  10. I just watched the season opener. WTF, I can't belive Sarah died. She was one of my favorites. UGHHHH
  11. So yeah I have 3/4 of Metal Heads done, I thought I would have it done by now but with rush events, organic chemistry and working two jobs, it's been tough.
  12. I might just end up releasing Metal Heads. My organic chemistry professor assigned an assignment due on first day of class

  18. Well this deserves all the praise it's getting to be honest. It's crazy just thinking damn I had this same transition as Mason is the same age as me and I sware my middle school best friend looked exactly like him. Although I couldn't relate to everything, still it reaches home. It's 3 hours flew by. I wasn't really a fan of the ending. Oh and UT Austin was my dream school lol oh and it's Texas. Anyways I could go on and on. A
  19. So we buy tickets for Guardians and go in and there's no seats so we got a refund. Felt so bad for doing that
