Fassbender: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, Christopher Nolan!

[big applause, boos from group labeled "BKB"]

Nolan: I have directed films with huge ensembles. And if there's one thing that's more important, it's that the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts.

Nolan: It's important if all the actors work together, or a movie falls apart.

Nolan: These next films helped keep their actors in top form, and now they are up for Best Ensemble. The nominees are...

BLANK
THE RISE AND FALL OF JULIUS CAESAR
RISK MANAGEMENT
THE THREE-MONTH FUNERAL
A WOMAN IN THE CROWD

Nolan: And the winner is...

RISK MANAGEMENT

Joel Coen: Thank you so much for this award!

Ethan Coen: I have a good feeling about later.

Joel Coen: Yep, I'm getting that same feeling.

At this rate, The Rich & Famous is winning Best Picture. :P

Statistically, Woman in the Crowd has a better chance as it hasn't won anything AND I haven't won BP yet. *just jinxed it*

Actually, I'm betting on a five-way tie for BP; best way not to jinx it. :P

Fassbender: Ladies and gentlemen, Steven Speilberg!

[huge applause]

Speilberg: Directors are perhaps one of the biggest things in a movie. Without a director, a movie will not exist.

Speilberg: A good director keeps his actors in shape. A good director keeps the movie flowing with energy. A good director supervises over techical parts of a film.

Speilberg: Essentially, a great director will make a movie even better.

Speilberg: Here are the nominees for Best Director.

ALEXANDER PAYNE, THE RICH & FAMOUS
PETER WEIR, THE RISE AND FALL OF JULIUS CAESAR
JOEL AND ETHAN COEN, RISK MANAGEMENT
DAVID O. RUSSELL, THE THREE-MONTH FUNERAL
SPIKE JONZE, A WOMAN IN THE CROWD

Speilberg: And the winner is...

JOEL AND ETHAN COEN, RISK MANAGEMENT

Joel Coen: I'm getting deja vu.

Ethan Coen: Yes, I am.

Joel Coen: Same as before. Thank you, thank everybody in my life, and good night. Hopefully not yet.

Fassbender: Seeing how the intensity is building, were going on a commerical break to keep everybody on their toes. See you in a moment!

Thank-God I'm done with the Coens then. :P At least for a good 5-10 years. This was intended as a trilogy and I don't like to reuse my directors too often unless the movies are intended to be connected or sequels.

*begins planning Coen Brothers film ASAP*

It's their 3rd Oscar now isn't it? I guess we better start preparing for win #4 now.

Fassbender: And we're back everyone! This could be a huge ending to Oscar night! But first, ladies and gentlemen, the creator of the hit animated series The Simpsons, Matt Groening!

[applause, Groening walks on stage]

Groening: Animation is different from live-action, in the sense that slightly more cartoonish things can happen. Not everyday do you come across a talking mouse or a giant dragon.

Groening: But what's most important is, animation can achieve things human actors can't, and can achieve great heights on a small budget. In other words, it's popular.

[small laughter]

Groening: Here are the nominees for Best Animated Feature.

AMULET
THE BLUE BELT
BONE - SOLSTICE
CELLULOID HEROES
SPARK 2: IGNITION

Groening: And the winner is...

AMULET

Bryan Singer: This being my first animated film, it's rather exciting to be winning an Oscar for it. I'm going to thank the Academy for presenting me with my first Best Animated Feature Oscar. Good night.
