UK delivers

Continuing its excellent UK run, eOne’s Now You See Me dropped just 16% in its third weekend, conjuring up a further $1.4m (£922,669). The heist thriller has replicated its domestic success and has currently grossed $11.1m (£7.2m) in the UK, a result that’s made all the more impressive given both the crowded marketplace and the hot weather.

63 screens (WWZ at #1 & with shitload of screens added   it was #11 last week)

2nd best Average after WWZ

In Italy it dropped only -37.9%

In Germany -50.1%

Austria -43.3%

lol reposting abt its fail in India :D

Movie already released, I think the same weekend or the weekend after US release. Obviously as non-publicised R-rated movie, Unlike Hangover-3, it didn't do much business. Didn't even release in the 3 screen theater closest to me.

NYSM didn't do well in India. It had a very limited release and a very limited audience.

As you can see, it barely had 2 shows a day at one of the biggest theaters in Hyderabad, it lasted one week and then was gone. Would guess that it was the same case across India.

It will pass WWZ here today and it will reach 200.000 admissions. That is a crazy number.

woah its great!

in most of the countries its under WWZ which is understandable

Its great that it didnt have rapid screen loss as far as I get, right??

from the UK report

another success!

Still with a trick or two up its sleeve, eOne’s Now You See Me enjoyed a minimal drop in its fourth weekend to add $1.4m (£880,000) to its bounty.

The heist thriller is now up to an excellent $13.96m (£9.06m) in the UK and while the busy release schedule might prevent it hitting £10m this coming weekend, it’s now a case of when and not if.

In the process, it’s also become director Louis Leterrier’s second-best UK performer, topping The Incredible Hulk’s $12.8m (£8.3m) and trailing only Clash of the Titans’ $31.1m (£20.2m) haul.

UK actuals

NYSM 397 880,783 -5% 9,064,766
