We know what happened this past Memorial weekend. To have FINDING DORY, AATC lV, AVATAR ll and KFP lll for the holidays is crazy. One should move. Disney and Pixar have scheduled their films until 2018. DW and Fox might be thinking of moving KFP lll again, but then again the wait would be longer. KFP ll was a 2011 film.

we don't know if Avatar 2 is 2015 yet. If Cameron says he can get it ready by then, then Fox will likely move Panda 3 and put Avatar in its spot

Fox wont take Alvin out of December. KFP will move if it has to, though personally that should stay in summer. I don't think either franchises will ever end. Theyre expecting 6 KFP's. Alvin is like Hangover, should've stopped at the first.

It's been done, and usually involves at least one of the films bombing.  November 2011 had 3 within a month, and Arthur Christmas was a huge bomb.  March 2011 had 3 within a month, and Mars Needs Moms was an epic disaster.  Granted, those 2 were probably destined to fail anyway, but I don't think many expected them to fail that hard.

 

It's really stupid to schedule 3 of the same demo movies in a month, unless you're dealing with 4 quadrant stuff.
