Realistically?? About 50M OW and 125M Domestic finish.. I don't know of anyone clamoring for an Aquaman movie and the closest would be Kevin Costner in WATERWORLD..

My wife got me the Target exclusive "book" Aquaman BluRay/DVD combo set for my birthday yesterday!

Probably watch it this weekend. She said, "I know you're waiting to get the Marvel stuff in a third box set but hedged my bets that DC wasn't going to do that and went ahead and got you Aquaman". I was pretty impressed with that I must say!

Tbf back in those days a Wonder Woman movie was deemed a fantasy. What with WB pursuing a CW show over a movie and calling her "tricky" among other things

James Wan’s $1B+ ‘Aquaman’ Became DC’s Lifeboat After ‘Justice League’ Debacle: No. 5 In 2018 Most Valuable Blockbuster Tournament

Aquaman‘s profits of $260.5M are only 3% better than Wonder Woman‘s last year. Our sources found that he was more expensive than Wonder Woman, $200M to $149M in net production cost — not surprising given that films with water are always more expensive. The film spent $10M less in global P&A than what Warners shelled out for Wonder Woman at $158M. Participations on Aquaman at $30M are double what they were on Wonder Woman but that is still a good showing when you exceed $1B in ticket sales and launch a franchise. Overall revenues between global  theatrical rentals, TV and home entertainment ancillaries on Aquaman amount to $732.5M to Wonder Woman‘s $659.1M who ranked 6th in last year’s tournament to Aquaman‘s 5th place here. Revenues do not include merchandise streams.

Not bad for a film that was supposed to be killed by Mary Poppins.

Say....where there anyone that had big doubts of the look of Aquaman himself, first time we ever saw Jason Momoa as the title superhero? Imagine that this is around 2013-2015, and we had no idea how Aquaman in the DCEU, would look like. And when you saw him...but not in the design that fans are familiar with...you’d think ”Wait. This is not the Aquaman i remember. The Aquaman i know does not look like this.”

Since the classical Aquaman from the comics and most cartoons had him with the original blonde short hair and no facial hair, compared to this one where he has darker, longer hair and with facial hair. 🤔

He was the only thing I liked from JL so definitely not. He's awesome. Nailed the role.

I think there was some backlash when that first "Unite the Seven" poster was revealed during the BvS marketing.

Watching the 4K just now and I’m amazed at how cool it all looks.

The money is definitely on screen.

The fact that the effects were ignored by the academy is just bizarre.
