chasmmi
The ultimate winner of this must be Sam Jackson. He has been in some shit but god knows how shit they would have been without him. He singlehandedly make Snakes on a Plane and Shaft entertaining. Nobody else could have done that. You can tell he picks films he thinks are cool. His problem is he has the worst taste in films ever

mahnamahna
Will Ferrell, Bill Murray non-sequiter: Where is Charles Grodin nowadays??? Since he's 78 years old, I'd guess he's happily retired... even though he's not doing anything these days, Jason Segel couldn't convince him to reprise his role from Great Muppet Caper in the new movie

acab
Jeffrey Combs. Always fun to watch, i recently saw him in a pretty great and dark low budget horror flick called Would You Rather and he was chewing so much scenery. He was a blast. Steve Buscemi. John Goodman of course. Richard Genkins. Nick Nolte.
Incarnadine
Wow, 3 pages and I just noticed a huge omission. Stanley Tucci. He's never the star, but he's the best career supporting actor around, He plays wildly different characters and never gives a bad performance. The first time I recall seeing him was in Undercover Blues as the hapless "Muerte", he completely stole every scene he was in.
