I cant see that. GE made nothing outside a DV film. GDT made a dozen great films.

The most successful Godzilla film in the U.S. was Godzilla, and Godzilla wasn’t even in that.

 

Godzilla isn’t really that popular outside of Asian countries.

 

Also Pacific Rim’s reviews were positive. Several major critics called it entertaining. Its failure has nothing to do with reviews.

Well, fearless Jeagers may win the battle over Kaijus on the Pacific Rim, but they looks has lost to a crap Adam Sandler comedy at the box office.

Yeah, it sucks that the majority don't go see original blockbuster type movies with good reviews.
