Hey if they can keep delivering on the main movies like this, then I don't even mind the trashy spin offs. in fact, it's the spin offs that are probably the franchise's saving grace, otherwise WB would've probably wanted crappy sequels churned out quickly.

Also, the director of Lights Out is making Annabelle 2.

It was between Wan and Derrickson around 5 years ago before Derrickson's recent efforts turned out horrible.

why no one is talking about how horrible the score was? good god, it almost looked like Wan was sabotaging the movie on purpouse every time we got a tender moment with the Warrens.

 

Movie is good though, it gets better as it goes along. Nothing happens in the first half, which annoyed me.
