grim22
Would Gal Gadot being cast help SuperBat in Israel? Does she have a fanbase or is it like Rinko Kikuchi who doesn't move the box office needle in Japan.
Tower
Would Gal Gadot being cast help SuperBat in Israel? Does she have a fanbase or is it like Rinko Kikuchi who doesn't move the box office needle in Japan. Gal Gadot doesn't have any fanbase here, the main reason someone might know who she is, is because she was in the Fast series (which is massive, but not because of her). Israeli film goers don't seem to care that much about Hollywood films because of Israeli connections. WWZ had a significant part take place in Israel and had an important Israeli actor and it still did much worse comparatively than the US. Superbats problem is that MOS had atrocious legs, and the best thing going for it is Batman, since TDKR and TDK are the two biggest superhero films here. Fullbuster
I hope TASM2 can grow here.
Tower
I hope TASM2 can grow here. Spider 1 - 1.97M Spider 2 - 1.35M Spider 3 - 1.4M TASM - 2.35M So it definitely looks quite likely for TASM2 to grow here if you look at the history of the character. TASM actually made more than IM3 here.

Tower
Looking forward to 2014, there is no obvious choice to win the year, Mockingjay probably wins by default but there is nothing on the level of Fast And Furious and Smurfs from last year which leaves an opening for something original to take the year if it has good WOM. A lot of the films that will be biggest DOM just aren't that big in Israel like Spiderman, Transformers, X-Men. HTTYD 2 will probably see a big rise from the first since some children's film has to do well during the summer and there doesn't seem to be any other big options at that time.
