The Interview | Limited Release on December 25, 2014

I don't know why or how Seth Rogen managed to convince a movie studio to fund a premise this outrageous, but the results are sure gonna be fun to see.

If Sacha Baron Cohen could get away with half of what he did, surely Roger can too with a more narrative based approach.

North Korea Officially Denounced The New James Franco Movie

KIM JONG-UN'S SPOKESPERSON THROWS SOME SHADE AT THE U.S., BUT HE ALSO SAYS GLORIOUS LEADER WILL STILL SEE THE MOVIE.

“There is a special irony in this storyline as it shows the desperation of the US government and American society,” he told The Telegraph.

“A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the US has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine,” he added.

“And let us not forget who killed [President John F.] Kennedy – Americans. “In fact, President [barack] Obama should be careful in case the US military wants to kill him as well,” Kim Myong-chol said.

North Korea threatens war on US over Kim Jong-un movie

North Korea has promised "merciless" retaliation if a forthcoming Hollywood movie about killing Kim Jong-un is released, say agencies.

A North Korean foreign ministry spokesman said in state media that the movie's release would be an "act of war".

He did not mention the title, but a Hollywood movie called The Interview with a similar plot is due in October.

Hollywood actors James Franco and Seth Rogen star in the action-comedy film.

They play a talkshow host and his producer who are invited to interview Kim Jong-un, and are subsequently recruited by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to assassinate the leader.

Wait they are not happy with movie but why? I do not understand this.

Gee, I wonder why, too.

Considering it's a movie about assassinating the leader of that country, wouldn't it be normal for them to react like that?

Talk about overacting. North Korea is always making threats and never going through with them. This will be no different.

Overacting?

You're thinking of overreacting :D But North Korea, yeah, you really can't take them seriously.

Not trying to be the party pooper, but the film is based around assassinating the real President of North Korea not some silly fake naemd president which would probably be a little strong for most countries. If the UK made a movie where two guys set out to kill Obama specifically (as opposed to Billy Bridges the 63rd president), it would not go down well with many people in the US either.

There'd probably be know threats of war but you know...

Leaving the serious bit behind, there is more chance of Kim Jong Un going on The Steven Colbert Show and licking his own ballsack live on air whilst wearing a yellow tutu that there is of this film getting released in South Korea, let alone North Korea.

I'm gonna have to download from the shady interwebs.
