Sims
I know it's a tech category so nobody cares, but I still can't get over the fact The Day After Tomorrow was snubbed for VFX.
Leyla
Like you guys mentioned before leo not getting nominated for Django Unchained is just sad. I was surprised how I enjoyed him much more than the winner. Both he & Jackson deserved to get in instead of Waltz & obv Deakins loss to LoP
fishstick
Waltz was a category fraud placement. he was a co-lead that went supporting because BA was packed.
dashrendar44
Florence & The Machine's "Breath Of Life" not nominated for Best Original Song (Snow White & The Huntsman). Long edit is an epic orchestral pop gem. Edited September 2, 2013 by dashrendar44

dashrendar44
Was that eligible? Wasn't it? Don't know the rules in that regard, tbh.
riczhang
Wasn't it? Don't know the rules in that regard, tbh. I'm not sure. But there are a lot of rules. A lot of songs are disqualified for having some unoriginal content (though Skyfall did make it past despite reusing some previous Bond song themes) or being the second cue of the credits. (Songs must be used in the body of the movie or be the first cue in the credits to be eligible)

It was outstanding. (And dare I say "Breath Of Life" > "Skyfall")
CoolioD1
It was eligible. I remember it being on their list. (And yes, Breath of Life is totally better than Skyfall)
SchumacherFTW
Still disappointed that Intouchables was completely snubbed last year.

(And dare I say "Breath Of Life" > "Skyfall") I didn't watch Snow White so I didn't know about that song. Just listened to it. Totally deserved to be in and win. Agreed, Breath of Life > Skyfall. Jake Gittes
Another song that deserved a nom last year was 'Who Did That To You?' from Django. I thought Skyfall deserved its win, though.
