The Futurist
Paul Thomas Anderson would be cool. His two latest movies were BO flops.

acetabulum7
I'm joking because that's what everyone does for these franchise movies. They name giant directors who would have no interest what so ever Spielberg, Cameron, Woody Allen, Tarantino.... Edgar Wright!!!!!!!

grim22
JJ Abrams he will be done with Star Wars! Brad Bird? Maybe Fincher would be up for it Hahahahahah Well, Brad Bird did just show that he sucks at directing original live action movies, so he might want the safety of a tried and tested franchise. He directed the 4th installment of one, now he can direct the 8th installment of another to get him back to form.

Mojoguy
You know that's not gonna happen. Star Trek is a downgrade for Lin. He is just Abram's whipping boy. Lin should have stayed with the Fast and Furious and gotten his first billion dollar movie this year. Also he runs the show there, and is a big reason for the franchise's resurgence. Should have stayed with the "family".

Ethan Hunt
Lin made one great, one good, and one AWFUL movie in the F+F franchise. I did like the fact that Wan tried to approach seven more like four than 2 or 3 but then he kinda got lost in giant action spectacle and the movie kinda drops off. I agree, Fast Five was great, Fast 4 and Fast 6 was good and Tokyo Drift was awful. Edited June 5, 2015 by grim22
