and there are various other films. The period between 2012-2016 was of box office manipulation but things started getting better in mid 2016.

 

Now producer figures are almost same as actuals. For media perspective they are par BOI most of the times, now that is sometimes because BOI is inflating numbers as well, as seen in October, Toilet, ToH, Sui Dhaaga, Kalank, Kesari, etc. Basically YRF, Varun, Dharma films.

So after watching and consideration, I've come to an opinion that i agree with @Charlie Jatinder that Disney missed a massive Blockbuster in India in form of Aladdin.

The film is like biggest Bollywood film ever in scale.

 

I re-watched Baahubali 2 yesterday, realised how poor it was technically. No longer perfect 10 from my side. That leaves only two films with 10/10 from my side; Infinity War & Deathly Hallows 2.

I saw both Mission Mangal and Batla House. I prefer BH but last 30 mins of MM are goosebumps inducing. 

 

Overall my rating, MM - 6/10, BH - 7.5/10.

 

At the BO, Mission Mangal is the clear winner and will probably do ~150cr lifetime. Very good numbers for a movie that costs only 32cr excluding Akshay's remuneration.

 

I hope BH can do close to Satyamev Jayate lifetime numbers because unlike SJ, this movie deserves to be a hit.

Results could have been bit better, like 10 more marks, but I am satisfied.

 

Next step is now preparation for final exams which are in Nov 2020.
