Well...

Mohenjodaro's first trailer was terrible...the movie was okay, but boy it had really bad production values and they went for a revenge story in that period...so lame. That's why it completely bombed.

This looks infinitely better but the main lead is miscast. Nevertheless,

Period war film + Ashutosh Gowariker+ December + Maharashtra + maybe decent reviews + some support from the senior citizens/historians  = 50+

If stars align it could potentially do a bit over 70 cr.

needs 120-130 to be successful. at least 40cr weekend and 65cr week1 needed with very good legs.

i think it needs to do 110cr+ total to be tagged successful with costs of 50-60cr.

so needs 40-45cr ow and 65-70cr week 1 followed by good word of mouth.

this film has production cost of only 50-60c?

yes. 50-60cr + 10cr p&a reported. now it makes me realise that the 110+ figure i used for it be a success is unfairly high. probably 85cr+ would do. @Jedi Jat can you throw some light on this?

₹50cr is just CoP. After including remurenations & PA, it will reach ₹100cr range.

They will make ₹40cr Approx from Sattelite & Digital, need ₹60cr Approx for Breakeven which needs ₹130cr Approx.

Releasing a film on 3000 screens cost ₹7cr Print cost.

Last 3 Star Wars did ₹37cr, taking TLJ & Solo and RO, which Anaconda 3 won't.

And I am gonna clearly ignore you because you aren't clearly interested in box office but something else.

37 cr is not even remotely good for a franchise that is considered one of all time greats.

Like I said, I like Star Wars movies but majority of Indians have no connection to it and don't think much about it.

Even lame looking Hollywood films end up out grossing star wars movies consistently.

Would love to see it do more, but it has a very limited appeal to the audience unlike say MCU or even normal action films.

Did not like War that much nice to see Hitrik back.

Thought Kagauna killed him for all time after her Aap ki adalt interview...

Kangana does not have it in her to kill the megastar.

She and her loudmouth sister got perfect reoly from the megastar when Hrithik's movie on opening day did more then her movie's entire lifetime collections.

commission basis.

Distributor pay an advance to Producer for distribution rights, and helps in distributing the film. He will be getting agreed commision, there are few agreements.

In most cases, if film fails to reach the advance amount, producer will refund the loss of distributor. There are sometimes clauses of Non Refundable Advance too.
