Death, Taxes, and Bhramastra getting postponed

One, that guy is chu.

Two, I mean all the schedule is pushed 7-8 months, March release is unlikely. I will say Diwali 21 or pre-Xmas.

Sooryavanshi is supposedly first film, but hardly anyone in industry think it will release this year.

Ajay Devgan to make a movie about Galwan valley clash. Be prepared for ham fisted nationalism and distorted lies where  India killed 20 Chinese soldiers for every 1 we lost. In the climax, kajol will uninstall Tik Tok.

Somewhere out there Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are crying at the missed opportunity to milk the blind nationalistic Indian audience.

Imagine if a Khan had announced such a thing, bhakts all over the country would have crucified them by now.

I think film won't be made. Things will get back with China soon enough, it's not Pakistan.

Oh it will get made. These actors (Devgan, Canada Kumar, John Abraham, etc) will never let this golden opportunity to milk Indian audiences go. Especially at a time when nationalism is at its peak.

They will just donate 1% of the profit to the army and our blind bhakts will forgive and forget any outrage

Indo-China stuff don't sell as better as Indo-Pak. I don't think any Indo-China film being HIT. In their heart our public is Islamophobic & Pakistan get that disputed brother treatment.

Paltan was an awful movie. Haqeeqat is probably the only Indo-China war hit movie. I think it's also that since the language is different, you can't have the scenes between the armies in India vs China movies.

But Haqeeqat had those, actually that's only scene I have seen. Wanna watch it. May be this week.

Indo-China stuff doesn't sell as well as Indo-Pak stuff because till now we never had such level of conflict with China (apart from 1962 war). With Pakistan we have had multiple wars and minor and major skirmishes happens all the time. not to mention that we blame Pakistan for pretty much every terror attack inside the county. With China we never had that, but now we do have an incident that is on similar level.

I don't know if the movie will be a hit or not, but you cannot deny that audiences over the past few years have become extra fanatic. If any genre has the highest chance of success nowadays it is the patriotic and nationalistic genre (and glorifying past Hindu figures of course). It is possible that by the time the movie comes out this China situation would have blown over and forgotten which is why the actor and the studio is scrambling to get the announcement and procedure started so quickly, even before the actual standoff is over. They know they gotta milk it before the audiences move on. You can bet that they would have fast tracked the movie and released it within few months if it was not for Coronavirus

Good enough but seeing SSR was bit emotional. Didn't expect that. Was gonna watch original first, now gonna skip that.

Anyhow, thanks to our vehli janta, this will create some You Tube records. Already 1.3mn likes, which I think are Frozen. Perhaps 10-25mn likes, or more. Views easy 50mn plus in 24 hours.

Oh Sushant. Not like this 💘 Seeing him in this trailer and knowing he's not here anymore breaks my heart all over again 😢

I don't know if I have the capacity to watch this film without coming out super depressed. When he said 'I'm a fighter" - it already broke me.

Though I don't really believe TV ratings but in desperate times as these, any number count. Baby's Day Out, which many of you might not even know exist, was a very popular Hollywood film in 90s in India, especially on Home Video.
It beating Avengers: Endgame is no surprise, as a Baby's Day Out appeal to Indians who watch films on TV is much more than what West may like or even the cinemagoing Indians.
Top Hollywood viewerships in India, Just accounting Hindi dubbed version as English numbers are extremely low. The numbers are TVTs, i.e. TV sets in 000's.
  1. Baby's Day Out: 9,586 (roughly 22mn viewers)
  2. Avengers: Endgame: 8,305
  3. Jumanji: The Next Level: 7,716
  4. The Jungle Book: 7,551
  5. Aladdin: 6,426
  6. Avatar: 5,256
  7. Frozen: 4,936
  8. Dumbo: 4,443
  9. Toy Story 4: 4,363
  10. Jurassic World: 4,214
All of these, except The Jungle Book are from last few weeks. Few films might be missing as data might not be available in public domain.
