Looking forward to it. Hopefully this will be in Love, Simon range and not cringe OTT as the original Shubh Mangal Shavdan was.

Hope they do it better than Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga which took the same idea and made a horrible movie out of it.

2nd half where they lost the subject with stupid comedy and whatever the hell is happening is happening.

Hopefully they don't go as bad as the second half of that film.

may be even Badhaai Ho will fall for that, but it was very mature. Expecting same.

Lol Badhai Ho runs the same joke over and over again and it gets stale after the first half.

Had no idea SOTY2 released this weekend. Though it could have been huge, atleast Tiger's highest grosser.

What happened? Did the distributors drop the ball?

No way the kids who drove the original movie's business grew out to realize what a cringe-fest bs KJo movie it was. Even kids nowadays grew out of those dated KJo school romance drama (which is honestly done to death by now)

SoTY had very good music and Kjo himself directing the film and still that film barely broke even.

This one was relying on non-existent star power of Tiger, industry is delusional and everything else failed anyways.

Even since the trailer released, it was obvious that it won't be anything close to huge.

Infact it's opening in 2019 is around same as SOTY released in 2012, maybe even lesser adjusted.

2.9cr nett.

Godzilla (2014) opened to ₹4.5cr though. Why is this Godzilla doing less everywhere?

Reception of first one & too much time between first 2.

I mean they did one good thing of MCU while building their universe Ajit giving solo releases first but couldn't follow on MCU's close releases.

Still better than DC, i think it'll pick up, it's just a start, some missteps can happen, as long as movie turns out to be good, it'll be better for long run of the whole franchise.

Also first one has hype of being first American Godzilla since 1998 and then it got bad reception, not because it was bad movie, but because it has only 9 minutes of Godzilla in it.

Rest i pointed out.
